THE MACKINAW BRIDGE WAS UNION BUILT. MICHIGAN HAD TWO LOCALS AT THAT TIME, LOCAL 25 AND LOCAL 340 IRONWORKERS.

Went across in December..blizzard looking across the span but was magnificent. I looked in between fingers, at first! Hahaha
I'm very proud to say that my Grandfather and a couple great uncles were some of the iron workers who helped build this awesome bridge. Oneida Iron Workers were some dedicated and fearless workers.

Yes the mich u.p.was already part of Michigan over a year before Wis became territory Wis was not even territory yet THE U.P. was already " grandfathered " in as part of Michigan

I think it was MI was given the UP in exchange for giving Ohio a strip of land on the MI - OH border, when they were drawing the border lines. At the time the UP was considered a far away desolate wasteland, that no one was interested in. Some people still think it is, LOL. As a "troll", ( a Michigander living south of the Mackinaw bridge) I would not mind living there.

in season two or three of Dirty Jobs, Mike braves cramped, isolated portions of the interior of this bridge, to chip rust and paint. more exciting he scales the bridge to the very top-most elevation, to change the bulb in thw FAA beacon lamp. not where you want to be in fierce climate.

Amazing post, is all well and good but I find it truly baffling that all major crypto youtubers just look at pure and completely ignore the bigger narrative of why BTC is pumping and why the future outlook might not be as rosy as it seems. It's kinda irresponsible to ignore the fact that each ETF launch so far has caused a major dump at the peaks of BTC. We were already on shaky footing with historically low volume and almost pure whale pumps, narrowly avoiding a long-term bear market.
