you know... I kind of agree with what dream was saying before he was in prison, but i also think he was going a bit over the top with it, you know, blowing up tommy and tubbos stuff
A lot of villains logic makes sense if you think about it, it's often the lack of morality that twists it something no sane person would actually do. For example, a sane person might think solving world hunger would mean making it possible for more people to access food, while a villain takes it further with killing a lot of people will solve world hunger because there's less people to feed.
It's all fine until drista logs into dream smp and turns to creative lmao

Somebody on TikTok explained all of this this. They were saying that Dream has always been scared, he’s always been worried. Something big is going to happen and only Dream knows. He pushed for Tommy’s exile only because he didn’t want Tommy to get hurt. Dream never intended to kill/hurt Tubbo. Everything that Dream has, his armor, his apples, the potions, the totem, he all had them spawned. He never intended to hurt people. The reason he cut connections from everyone and everything was because he didn’t want to get hurt himself when ultimately everyone dies. In his own sick way, he wanted everyone to realise this without saying anything.
While they were building the prison, Dream said he was worried, worried for what?
Dream wanted to put Tommy in the prison, not because he wanted to punish him but because he wanted to keep Tommy safe.
When the tables turned and Punz brought everyone to the little meet up place, Dream realised if he gets thrown in that prison that he’ll be safe.
But again, safe from what?
