The most cruel part, kindness attracts narcissists. Maintain your boundaries and goals or you will be building someone else's life while you have nothing.!!

True. What I realized over the years is if you react to them accordingly in the first place they will know their places because narcissists are some of the most cowardly people out there. But you have to be alert and take no chances when it comes to you and your boundaries.

This video really changed my perspective on life. From learning about Epicurus to Marcus Aurelius, I’ve learned to focus on my own values without worrying about others' judgments.

These Stoic advices are so dangerous especially most target audience are young men who haven't made real mistakes yet, haven't had real heartbreaks nor disapproval and rejection. And feeding this mindset to someone without earned wisdom and experience and without strong critical judgement is not gonna work. These ideas and principles are very useful and some are very tactical, some not applicable , and some are even not viable depending on ones situation, experience, position, stability and competence and maturity. Imagine an incompetent and overconfident trade apprentice sucking up all this info and advice? A tree's blossom and fruitage can never be bigger than its roots.
Here's a bummer for the new age Stoic boom.. the mass communication, accessibility and over-saturation of this philosophy is also the reason this won't work. Stoicism was special because it wasn't a label and it didn't have a cult following. It was accessible but not offered. The ideals were reaffirmation not advices. It was some form of sacredness and prestige to it. Not everyone were meant to be Stoics, otherwise it nulls it's calibre and applicability. But I guess the world and the human psyche is evolving. Though Aurelius' deeds and experiences are impressive, you can't just go out there, put your chest out, silently claim your narrative, and expect the world to bow on their knees.
It would be safe to say Stoicism is an advanced philosophy and knowledge. I personally believe there are pre-requisite values, morals and principles to develop and mould before learning and following Stoicism.

Gentlemen 😂 could someone please explain why The Stoicism Community is segregated? Why would philosophy be separated into boys and girls?
If the ICs were truly learning anything, they wouldn't be ICs anymore.
    Sad really 😢

Perhaps because it would be more difficult to remain stoic in a mixed community? ;)
But joking aside, I myself don't make a distinction between boys and girls, only between the wise and the foolish.
And I find it rather monotonous always to see only bodybuilders in stoicism videos.
