I think Dwarves like mountains, so the entirely enclosed mountain start maybe helped them out in this one and why they ended up a bit stronger? I do find the experiment interesting, but finding a way to make it fully 'even' is pretty tricky

I would be interested in seeing how the AI fights each other with minimal to no intervention. Maybe create a RTS-like map with each race starting in a corner and resources scattered around the map in a way that incentivizes expansion. I wonder if the differences between races are enough to give them matchup advantages or the differences are so negligible that battles depend more on RNG.
Orcs have a hunge advantage at the start since they're alot stronger and the First nation to get more land wins almost every time the Elves live for much more time and theyr army use mainly bows so they're op in the long run the dwarves are just trash and depends on the rng to win humans beat the orcs in the long run but still lose for the elves most os the times

As a Swiss I don‘t know how I feel about Matt saying ö is scandinavian. Since we use ä,ö and ü in German my favoirite dialect word beeing „Hüärägüät“, the double-dot or „Umlaut“ as we call it feels very german while for me œ or ø looks scandinavian
As an american, I can honestly say that the majority of people here can't say the word "dictionary". Our voiceboxes are incapable of reproducing the sounds needed to speak Finnish, or Welsh, even Spanish correctly. ...but it's probably our americanness (yup, THAT'S english lol) that keeps us from taking the time to learn to pronounce an umlaut. Say Fruit. Now say Froooot, so the same but longer in the ooo part. That's ö. For those who had trouble, there ya go. :)

If anyone is actually wondering how to pronounce ö/ø it's usually either one of these [ø] [œ], it's pronounced the same way as the FACE and the DRESS vowel (respectively) but you round your lips and for the FACE vowel it would be only the first part of the diphthong not the so as a monothong, like the DRESS vowel, no /j/ = in yes.
I've always wanted to do this...with 4 different species of ants. Regular US fire ants, australian sugar ants (they are big) but I give them a bunch of extra food so they outnumber their opponents, some kind of army ants, and those big boy carpenter ants they have in the southern US. Get a giant ass terrarium, split it in 4, let them build up their colonies. And then remove the glass separating them.

You should try dropping druids in some areas too. Sometimes the druids die and the people can start using the druid staffs which do ALOT of damage and can really change the game in such situations with low troops vs high amount of troops

Just suddenly felt like giving a short lessing in the letter Ö (or Ø, basicly the same sound but diffenrent countries). Its a vowel so you make the sound all the time in words like "word", "bird", "burn" and "stern" wich is all use the same vocal sound despite using both "o", "i", "u" and "e" in the english language, but these countries have just dedicated a letter for that sound so you can read it more phonetically.
Am I the only one who was imagining lore for all this as it was happening? Like a straight up fantasy novel detailing the history of the world. Written by the dwarves, clearly, as history is written by the victor. :P
