      Just trying to put you up on game so you don't make the same mistakes I made 💪🏾
      As for the curls, I just got tired of hopping on 2 buses every other week to get it braided 😭

    Finally the hair style that got me into your channel is back 😂🔥 ps are the braids too much to maintain? I had a friend tell me that and they give headaches too

    • @JordanGreenYT
      @JordanGreenYT  29 днів тому +4

      Yessirrr! The braids weren't much maintenance, but it rains too much in the Netherlands to rock them consistently (you can't get them wet). Plus, having to take a 40+ minute bus ride every other week just to get to the hair salon was definitely not ideal 🤦🏾‍♂

    2024 kids need 2021 Jordan Green more than 2021 kids needed 2021 Jordan Green
    Meaning this topic & style of video is perfect for the new micro-generation of teenagers who are addicted to hyper-edited (usually short-form) content with no meaningful substance to them

      I agree bro. The videos that have changed my life the most are all formatted similarly to this one.
      That said, I'm going to keep experimenting with different content types to see what sticks, but the value will always be there; that's a given 🥂

      You're right! But the reason they got better luck is because they CHOSE it for themselves. You choose your own luck in this life. My goal is to help you learn how to do that 🥂

  • @Drew-im8dl

    @JordanGreenYT I know this is random but I’m 18 years old, and I’ve achieved most of the goals that I’ve set for myself but I’m still feeling depressed and hating how my life is the same thing everyday. Do you have any advice to push through that?

    • @JordanGreenYT
      @JordanGreenYT  28 днів тому

      I feel you bro. Once I hit 100K, I went through something similar.
      In fact, I only recently pulled myself out of that phase.
      What helped me was realizing that the true reward isn't in what you achieve, but rather in who you become along the way.
      If you lost everything you've achieved today, you would still be YOU. Place your value in that rather than the goals themselves, and you'll find lasting fulfillment.
      Also, make it a point to expand, not just grow. Growth is linear; it occurs on a graph like this one 📈 Expansion is exponential. It's you stepping off of the graph altogether. Learn a new language/instrument, travel to a different country, read a new genre of books, etc.
      Introduce yourself to a new, unfamiliar side of life to supplement your growth in those "boring" areas (the gym, business, and so on).

    @JordanGreenYT anyways to follow up with what we were talking about in the comments I get angry at myself a lot of the times and I put so much pressure on myself at the age of 18 to like want to get nice things like a Lamborghini and all of that when that’s not really possible for my age but I get like really mad at myself and sometimes I even ball my eyes out because I want more from myself, like i don’t know how to explain it man..

    • @JordanGreenYT
      @JordanGreenYT  27 днів тому +1

      I feel you bro. In the near future, I'll probably make a video about the reality of being "successful" while young.
      For now, just know this: the people you're comparing yourself to fall into 1 of 2 categories...
      1. They're not nearly as rich as they seem and/or are financially irresponsible.
      2. They started wayyyyy younger than you did.
      That said, you're also underestimating how young you actually are- especially when it comes to achieving material success.
      Ask yourself this: "if I got a Lamborghini at age 35, would people view me as a failure?" Probably not.
      Why? Because most people never get a Lamborghini at all.
      In other words, focus on building up your skillset (investing in yourself) so that the material success comes to YOU rather than the other way around.
      2x your timeline for success, and you can 10x your goals.
