I couldn't believe it, partly because I knew the route used to be operated by coaches so I assumed it would be ticketed as such. I also expected to pay £2.50 in november but was positively surprised to find £2 was extended again.

Major roadworks going on in the outskirts of Oxford right now, delays possible.
But the bus driver seems to have managed them quite well.
That roadworks has caused delays to X5 services. Almost all arrive and leave Oxford late. Even some scheduled service didn’t come up.
yeh some seem to go via Summertown & edge of Kidlington instead
