Ahh! No Quarter. Bought that album new bro. 15 grand? Not today and damn sure not the stock engine. Speaking of today, I bought a ‘65 Scout today. Love yours! Wish you had it back? Raise hell! Texas.
Nice looking Scout! I have an all rebuilt original 1967 Scout that looks great. It needs some love but I cant find anybody local I trust to help me work on it. Down in Austin, Tx if you want to come help!
I just got 2 1966 scout 800 for 1,500. They need body work but the frame is solid on both. Where do you find alot of parts for these. I need fenders for the front door hinges etc.
Now I'm pea-green with envy! A neighbor in Surprise, AZ had a find like yours. I had a '66 Scout 80 for a first car. I still can't imagine a V8 in a Scout - I wish you and yours a long-life partnership! Great video.@@BlakesGarage
Hey Blake.. What mod kinda work is needed to get the front Baja suspension seats in? I got a front bench in my 65 and can't seem to find a good new fit set of bucket seats that will work best for minimal modifications
Yes, it is. Also the front windshield folds down and doors are easily removed with two pins. For the summer time I usually take to top off and throw on the Bikini top with the doors off, definitely a cool experience driving down the freeway with now doors.
Well it had a Detroit locker rear and powertrac front so it was a real 4x4. Your more so talking about full time AWD with lockers and that isn’t a thing really cuz it wouldn’t turn on the street.
Sir.. Good day.. My father have a international scout here in Philippines.. And i want it to be restore.. Can you help me sir..thanks.. Van2 here in davao, philippines..
Cool Scout, those hoods are like trying to lift a piece of 3/4x4x8 pressure treated plywood.
Haha for real glad Caught it and it didn’t slam down and bend or something
So badass, one of my buddies had one of these in high school & I was always super envious of it. Clean build 👍🏼
Baby WREX thanks dude!
min 6:28 nice save, awesome little tank
👍🏾nice body mods
Solid 10/10 on the hood catch 👌😜
Finally a video on the scout 👍
Wow, what a machine! Would love to see more videos on this vehicle. What got you interested in these?
CitizenEJ257 thanks 👍
I have a 1966 800 was curious how easy was the motor swap
Dude that thing is sick!
Awesome buddy finally featured the scout👍 keep up the awesome content ✌
Very beautiful scout

Yep, Should have never sold it. Probably worth an easy 35K now.
Buckle at the knees..... Drop dead gorgeous 😍❤️
nice little scout.
If you didn't think Blake could get any more badass...
Sweet Scout!
Love me some Cornbinders!
Very nice!
I just like to see your IH Scout. Very nice rig!
That's badass, thanks for sharing
Mine goes 80mph with its original 4 banger.
Mine does that with a 304 International motor. And it gets there quickly
How?
Just bought one. Any insight you care share would be beneficial.
Thanks.
I have a scout 80 that I’m starting to work on and I’m curious what your tire to lift combo is, I absolutely love the stance of that rig!
This was 31's and just a shackle lift. It looked amazing in my opinion no need for any cutting either.
Great Scout. Just curious, is that color called "Apache Gold"? Thank you.
Nice job!
Very nice seats upgrades....like to know where you got them..?
Toyos are great...any suspension modss..?

looks nice
I seen it in the back ground way back.
I found a beat up scout with 100k doesn’t drive for $2500 . Thoughts on that price ?
I love it!

Did I detect a little No Quarter by a certain British super band? A little Zep maybe?
Is the fan, fan shroud, clutch and belt missing?
I put on an electric fan

What happened to the original motor??
Hey Blake.. What mod kinda work is needed to get the front Baja suspension seats in? I got a front bench in my 65 and can't seem to find a good new fit set of bucket seats that will work best for minimal modifications
I built all of the seat mounts myself. Just welded them up that was the easiest thing to do for me.
What engine do u have in ut
Awesome Scout! Please tell me, where did you get the brackets for the back bench?!
I made them from plate and tubing. Same for the fronts.
Would love to own one but I'm at capacity.
I know the feeling
Giddy up , so good
SWEET BRO THANKS FOR RESCUING IT FROM RUST PILE !
Is this lifted at all? I’m looking at a CPT lift kit from IH parts America
Love the Scout Blake. How is the ride on the e30 with the 95a poly bushings?
How did you like the Baja seats? I'm looking at getting them for my Scout II.
Yea, I really loved them. You may want to see if you like more of a head rest though.
@@BlakesGarage I plan on getting the head rest ones for sure. Building it for an overland vehicle and eventually will have kids in the back.
Is the Dana 44 in the rear the original setup?
Joe Wind yes
Joe Wind my 76, it was. Front snd rear. He's right. Sold that truck and still regret it.
The Dana 44 rear wasn’t stock it was from a scout 2. Scout 80’s came with a Dana 27 and I think the later V8 ones car with a Dana 44
What springs are you running? Are those the 1.75 800 springs?
International did not offer that color. They were more into yellow, green, blue, red.
I have original Advertising from International with this color Scout so I beg to differ.
@@BlakesGarage You are correct - I checked . Just because I never saw one, doesn't mean they didn't make it. I had a yellow & white 65 & a red 73.
intro music?
I had an IH Scout 80, sold it... 😪😭
Im assuming this sold...?
Yeah, thanks for asking.
How tough would it be to take off that roll cage?
Flapjack city not hard at all it’s bolted in. Car is still for sale if you’re interested
Blake's Garage did you sell it?
2 spotlights on top...wit a mossyoak paintjob...it b da boomb ...but l still love it...
Assuming that this sold?
Yep!
Is the top removable??
Yes, it is. Also the front windshield folds down and doors are easily removed with two pins. For the summer time I usually take to top off and throw on the Bikini top with the doors off, definitely a cool experience driving down the freeway with now doors.
Like your ride and vid, but unless a vehicle is in 4low with front AND rear locked, it's not 4wd.
Well it had a Detroit locker rear and powertrac front so it was a real 4x4. Your more so talking about full time AWD with lockers and that isn’t a thing really cuz it wouldn’t turn on the street.
Nooooo,.... don't sell it! You will regret it forever unless you have to feed a baby or something!
Sir.. Good day.. My father have a international scout here in Philippines.. And i want it to be restore.. Can you help me sir..thanks.. Van2 here in davao, philippines..
guessing this sold already?
Yeah it did.
Ps,... nice air conditioner!
