Hold up on galactus ....at 1st this really pissed me off...however I've been playing around with him & lemme tell you he's as strong as he was before....with a couple of tweaks in the deck his deck is still dominant....IMO
The NERF feels bad, worst is the lack of notice, I found out on my first conquest game when my play didn't work. If they have known give us notice, I keep up on the game and didn't expect it. Also as someone that got him a month ago after saving and buying this feels like a rip off. Onto the next deck then....
I'm a bit peeved with the Galactus Nerf. If they are set of this new win mechanic with him, I'd feel better if he was a 6\8. I guess I'll have to figure a way to work Galactus into a High EVO deck.
I’m very curious if Galactus could synergise with Living Tribunal. Spread your power out to get an edge on Galactus’s lane that he’s eventually dropping into. Throw a whole bunch of low cost high powers like Silk, Colleen, Angela(?), Lizard etc… Idk. I’m interested in that possibility. Then Tribunal gets smashed by Galactus anyway. Would probably require Wave 3/4, Tribunal 4/5, Galactus 6… It might be tricky to pull off haha.
So now isn’t Galactus just electro / hobgob or spidey / Galactus/ knull? That beats Shang chi final turn anyway. Or are Galactus players too dumb to realise this helps them?
Also.. Aero now indefinitely counters that play. 7 vs 8 power. You don't even need to make sure something else is in his lane. Just drag him to any lane and he doesn't pop off.
@@richardrobinson1663 Thats why when you see ANY signs of Galactus Deck, you dont play in the same line, where they play their Wolverine, Yondo, Wave. Also Aero is now a must, she neg diffs him in 1vs1
My only complaint as a F2P player, this feels like spend a ton of time gathering cards for a deck. Only for that archetype to get nerfed. The meta is slowly changing because of card gathering is slow for F2P. I can't just have 2 or 3 or 4 archetypes viable. We just don't have a chance to get new decks online fast enough.
trust me i am f2p player, card gathering goes sht when u complete pool 3 and going for pool 5 cards is mostly useless many pool 4 cards are way better than pool 5 cards and need to be bought first. And galactus is weird buff would make him broken and nerf makes him mid. He counters every other archetype except control or control card. Like he can make discard, wong or move decks useless if u execute galactus. He is like win 1-2 cubes if ur opponent has no counters or retreat and lose 1 cube.
Long time Galactus player here. So far this seems like a buff imo. Then again, I usually drop him on T6 to combo with Nimrod and Wolverine so this doesnt really impact my play style
How are you gonna play Galactus on turn 6 when you need to win a location with 7 power? Lol. Turn 6 Galactus is dead, but turn 4 after wave is still viable.
@JoeClaws So far I've only had 1 game where the enemy had more than 7 power on all lanes on turn 6. A LOT of decks either play 2 lanes with some utility cards dumped on the 3rd or setup for their own big combo on 6 which isn't an issue as long as you have priority
Soooo incredibly tired of everyone bitching about new cards and the devs constantly changing crap. I honestly rarely ever lost against Galactus, Now it sounds he will actually have some power. high Evo is fine, anyone crying and bitching because they are now losing to High Evo, it means change up your strat, use different decks, retreat, don't snap.GET OVER IT! YES I've finally found a deck through High Evo, I also lose with that deck and have to retreat. Man, soon these devs are gonna go back to old school programming ways and ignore the cry babys. The game is not broken just because you can't expand your knowledge in the cards.
I've got to say...this is ridiculous...how many great cards have they nerfed...to completely make other cards crap ..that SD is trying to compensate more...buffs have come to cards that still aren't even played massively...cmon...now they do this .....nah
These galactus changes are TRASH. They should be offering refunds for the tokens spent on him.

They said No Refunds since Day 1 and the Nerf is not that bad since they brought up the Power from 2 to 7

I've been praying for a Galactus nerf for a long while. It's a good day. No more Knull win locks and retreating all damn day.
Phew...just reached Infinite with Galactus right before the nerf. Glad I didn't update the game as soon as the patch was released.
I have nerf fatigue, but I’m okay with the Galactus one. I think he’s still a good card; there is just more wiggle room to counter him now.

Is it a nerf? The way I see it is a buff. Now you can just stack your good cards in one location and Galactus your way to win.
He still needs to be the only card in that location on your side. It is definitely a nerf, but I don't think he's unplayable.

If the Game is dead off 1 Card that means you were abusing Galactus and you have no other good Deck
