Excited with the idea, I grab the pen and write, a short shopping list. Now, let's head to the supermarket in town, which is only 15 minutes drive, from my house. A barbecue needs a lot of things on the list, so I take a shopping cart when arriving. First, let's stop at the meat section. A proper barbecue needs fresh meat, so I carefully select steaks, sausages, and tender chicken wings. These meats would be perfect, for the start of the grill, satisfying everyone's cravings. Next, strolling the shopping cart, through the aisles, I make my way to the produce section. I picked out fresh vegetables, like potatoes, mushrooms, and corn on the cob for grilling. These veggies would add color and flavor, to the barbecue feast. Now, there are a few more main ingredients on my list. I need a bottle of barbecue sauce, mustard, and ketchup to accompany the grilled delights. A barbecue is only complete with these essential flavors! My kids love sweets, so I quickly stopped at the bakery, for fresh burger buns and a baguette for garlic bread. All right, I've got everything I need. I head to the checkout counter, my cart is full of stuff for the barbecue. I told the cashier that I would rather pay with a credit card. On the way home, I couldn't help smiling, knowing that tonight's barbecue would be a delicious, and warm meal for a weekend family dinner!
