I've sailed up this coast, but many years ago. Ah, the good old days. Jeremy Rogers underneath you, a lot of salt water in your face and no space below. Dreaming that one day, you might be able to see your position on a screen or get a proper forecast without long wave on the BBC. Heady days, and this was 26 feet of Jeremy Rogers. We would even have been delighted to have seen on Orca. Would I have preferred to be aboard a Hallberd 69? You bet your life, I would. 😂
If you see dolphins and sharks then you know the orcas aren't about! I understand why anyone would stay in shallow water to avoid them, but at the same time it doesn't seem a very seamanlike thing to do.
