Hi Helen, I only found you last week and already, I've spent so long watching your amazing videos. Adding the wool fibers reminded me of my grandfather using horse hair in his mixes, many, many years ago. He always said it made the structures stronger. Someday, I am going to make your draped pots. They are all amazing!
Thank you and God's blessings to you.

Helen, I make paper mache clay and we use fibre house insulation that can be purchased for around $ll.00 a bale. It lasts a long time, so I consider it a pretty cheap additive to my paper clay. If you come across some at the Salvation Army, a second hand store, or even if you could get some from Menards, Lowe's or Home Depot it is a great addition to clay and I can't imagine it wouldn't be a great additive to your portland cement projects.
Love your spunk...keep showing us seniors what we can do.

God Bless you Sister Helen! I love your videos, and I think you do a really great job with them; better than many other folks do...Helen, I am curious to know how these Hypertufa pots are holding up with use....are any breaking down with the soil, water and weather? I just found your channel, so I haven't been able to check out all your videos ( but you're a gal after my own heart, so I definitely will be) could you maybe do a follow up on these pots and birdbaths if you haven't already, and perhaps talk about how they are holding up and pros and cons with the different formulas you've used....Thank God for you, Helen...I was pretty down today, and your videos have lifted me up....God is Good! Be Blessed.

Penny Yokubaitis I cure mine by wrapping in plastic and setting in a shaded area or in my shed for 2-4 weeks so they dry slowly. One thing I’ve learned it’s best to do during cooler season as I’ve had them mold so that’s something I learned the hard way. This is hypertufa I made .The curing makes them strong and I’ve had no problem they are strong and out all winter

I am just getting done with 3 knitting projects using cotton yarn, and i have lots of scraps. What a great way to use up a stash! Was your yarn 100% cotton or a blend, do you know? Mine is 100% and I have lots more. Did you make this idea up or are others doing it also? Fiber artists are always looking for stash busters! Blessings to you.

Helen, I was surprised to see that you put the concrete mix inside the metal container. Why didn't you flip the container over and use the bottom and outside as the mold? That way the inside of your finished product would be guaranteed to a given capacity no matter how thick the concrete was. Plus you could carve in lines or press in designs while the concrete mix was still wet.
