Look , I am Muslim too. We also perform our sacrifice ritual, but we do it in such a manner that nobody, absolutely nobody, can have a problem with it. We do it in such a quiet and non-irritating manner that nobody gets irked. In Islam, it’s strictly written to not do something that would disrupt the harmony and peace of other faiths. After the sacrifice happens, we clean the place as soon as possible and do it very morally. We have Hindu friends who happily take their meat packets home from us and eat sevaiyaas. The problem is not sacrificing animals because 80% of Indians are non-vegetarian, and on a daily basis, lakhs of animals are sacrificed. The Bali, etc., happens, but the problem is having a sense of respect for your fellow human beings and neighbors. Islam doesn’t teach us to disturb other faiths while completing our rituals. Also, please don’t generalize all Muslims to be the same as Dabba’s family. We are very different and simple; we aren’t the chimki gota party.
