- South Korean film director Kim Ki Duk says he does not mean to spark controversy. But his movies often do just that. The auteur was recently in Istanbul for the Bosphorous Film Festival and I had a chance to talk to him about his signature style.

And it's an important fact for a movie director. For me Kim king duk do movies not for sell and make money but for communicate a line of think.

As much as I would like to respect the deceased, Cant wish this guy even a Rest In Peace. His movies are not masterpieces but straight perverted trash. And the fact that they’ve won big in acclaimed film festivals says a lot about what we consider “art”. I hope he gets to feel the same pain he caused his victims down below. Where he belongs. Covid, you got one right.
