I love this video. I live on the west coast of Australia and we’ve just had some super hot days where the temp went up to between 42 and 44 degrees Celsius and didn’t drop below 28. Apart from a small fan, I don’t have air conditioning and am literally melting. Thank you for your blog, it made me feel cooler

I totally feel you on the “dressing cute vs. dressing warm in the winter” thing, but I’ve found that if I have my warm coat on but then I pair it with a cute hat, matching scarf, and mitts I feel cute!! It’s like a cute snow bunny look 🤣 more importantly though, I’m much warmer so I’m in a much better mood!

I have generalized depression and anxiety (though I just moved to a cold state so seasonal may be coming). I have decided for next year to romanticize my everyday, as much as possible. It may be something small like making a hot chocolate, buying myself flowers at the grocery store, doing nothing for an evening but reading, or going to a bookstore on the weekend. I need to find the joy and room to breathe in the little moments and make them the best they can be. I will be taking your budgeting tip of $25 for books, so Barnes and Noble will be visited at least once a month 😀

Edit: I’m just seeing the part about the book subscription and I feel ya. Living in Canada it’s crazy how much it’s costs for the book subscriptions from outside the Country. After 3 months on a waitlist I got into FairyLoot and it would’ve been $90 a month for the box with shipping and conversion. Absolutely not 🥺
