Of course you won't be a master at someone you play for the first time, but someone who has been challenger multiple times (I think) should be able to at least know her abilities, literally no excuse.

7:45 No one plays illaoi cause she's so immobile compared to everything these days, theres a reason she was a menace in s6-8, she has her baby W leap but thats not the real problem, her problem is she's stuck in animation for all her abilities making it very easy to aim literally everything at her, also like GP/teemo/heim she has to play around her tentacles (barrels, shrooms, turrets), like its so hard for her to fight not near one which is why TP ganks suck

Pretty much. I used to main her in S5/6 when she came out. Then I slowly realised how much she really sucks. Her kit is paradoxical. She wants to keep you near her tentacles especially when she ults but has no real way of doing so.
She's as I like the say the one champ whose power is directionally proportional to her opponent's stupidity. If they rush you during R like idiots you win, if they're smart and literally walk away or peel you off, you're not a champ.

@@SLMYanimatic Depending on the angle and if you have no way to change directions instantly, it will hit you no matter what. That's why E'ing someone at very low hp and then ulting out of vision will surprise them because the tentacles slams instantly.
@@Geheimnis-c2e ig, I don't play illaoi so I can't say I know the tricks of her kit. All I know from fighting her is that you lose 1v1 if she all ins and you keep fighting, it's lame but just walking away from her is as good as winning lane. That's just my experience with her tho, I'm deff not saying this is fact
