"We are trying to do too many things." Yes, ugh. And not appreciated that much about it, 😅. I try not to get boxed in by the perfect ideals anymore, because you're right - the guilt is just gonna eat you up.
I loved what you said about priorities. I think it’s also important to realize we don’t need to do everything while our kids do nothing. Many hands make for light work so getting their help with things that we prioritize or that even fall lower on the list equips them for life on their own later on.

I agree with asking your spouse! For my husband he likes a specific area clean where he works out because he works out after work and doesn't have time to tidy it, and a home cooked meal after that! Yes, we simply can't do it all perfectly. 😊❤
