Hi Allen great videos and very informative. I have a worcester combi installed about 7 years ago. My preasure is fully down. The installer put a penny valve flex pipe in my attic which I have no idea why. my question is do I need to turn off the boiler before adding preasure or is it ok staying on cheers doney from Dublin
Hi Allan, great video and great advice. I've recently had an Alpha E-Tec 28 installed and the filling loop (like the one you show at 01:49) has stopped filling the boiler when the black screws are both loosened. I'm going to get the installer round to have a look at it, but they've been pretty shoddy so far t.b.h, so I'm not that confident in them. I was wondering if you had any ideas about what the possible causes might be ? Also, would the E-Tec 28 be compatible with the type of remote filling loop you show at 03:38 ?. I'm thinking that if the screws on the fixed loops are fragile whether I'd be better just using a remote loop. Thanks for any help you could give ! Cheers...

Hi Allan, happy new year and thanks for another great video. I have a question on the subject of pressure in the boiler. I fitted a worcester system boiler about a month back and shaped it from a baxi system boiler. It was a straightforward swap and I filled the system with the existing top up cistern, I think this is known as semi sealed? But pressure only reached .5 bar at most. All was working fine so I didn't think it was a problem but not sure what you think , is it OK just to be filled from the gravity cistern in roof space ? The feed also has a check Vale to prevent water going back up into cistern? What do you think ? Thanks
@@AllenHart999 thanks fir getting back to me Allen. Yes the tank is filling the new boiler and system as I just left it as with previous boiler because didn't think it was a problem. The new boiler is a worcester greenstar 24 i System . Thanks
Hi, I’ve got a boiler where the F1 error appeared and low pressure. I restarted the boiler and the hot water is back but the pressure is still below 1. Would you recommend the filling loop option or anything else you think would help? Thanks
Dear Sir Please let me know that is all type(by manufacturers) of boilers have analog/digital gauge on it. If answer is no then how can we top up pressure in it.
Hello. I have a Worcester combi, I have adjusted the pressure before, but now when I do it the gauge doesn't move and then water drips out of the bottom of the boiler? Have you any advice please? Thank you
Sorry for another comment . I have a SIME super 90 mk.11 . The pressure is almost at 0 . There’s no manual and the online one I’ve found is not very helpful . I absolutely do not know where to begin . Any help greatly received as I’m not in a position to call someone out .

Should the boiler be off or on when opening the valve for increasing the pressure.
