You're halfway right - no federal pardons, but governors have the ability to pardon state crimes. So, they would have to petition Gov. Katie Hobbs (D)

@@VeryDeathlyShiny Good point. Arizona could go back to having a Republican governor, but hopefully by then Trump Madness will have worn off. New York is unlikely to get a Republican any time soon. And as was discussed with the charges were brought in Georgia, even though they do have a Republican governor, their state laws intentionally make it very difficult to obtain a pardon. State charges are better than Federal.

If you are accusing the democrats of a crime, then they're presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law just like Trump is as well. You cannot just jail someone because you dislike them or their opinion.

It still baffles me that we have audio recording of Trump asking Georgia to simply give him an extra "11,780 votes" and just "tell the people that you miscalculated", yet half the country supports him. They're "alternate electors" and are always selected when the vote is being challenged. Hillary Clinton had them in 2016, John Kerry in 2004, and Algore did in 2000. But only suddenly now they're illegal based on a lie that the defendants knew they lost yet tried to steal the election anyways? How can you even prove that when it's far more likely they actually thought fraud altered the election. There were thousands of sworn affidavits claiming fraud occurred.

Harry and Glenn !!!!!!! Two of my favorite Meidas Touch lawyers. They break the legalese into understandable concepts. Harry giving updates from the courthouse while doing jury duty two weeks ago was so admirable.

During 1986-7 the state of NSW in Australia asked for bids to build the first casino in Sydney. Four groups submitted bids for the lucrative project. Cabinet papers declassified 30 years later revealed that the Trump bid was rejected after NSW State Police reported that the Trump mafia connections and financial unviability made their bid undesirable.

Why did Arizona take so long to bring charges? I surely hope the attorney general does NOT hire a male friend to help prosecute this case!
In her statement, the AG said she was waiting on the federal prosecutors to do their work. Now that the SCOTUS has stalled the federal case, she decided to go ahead with her grand jury indictments. Since she did not indict Trump (yet), the SCOTUS can't stall her case with Trump's ridiculous absolute immunity motion. There is plenty of time to indict Trump later if she wants. The statute of limitations for most of these crimes is 7 years.

A lot of talk. too on trial and Georgia but now there are indicted defendants in common the Georgia case and now the Arizona case and because pressure burst pipes it may very well be that this will help produce more cooperating Witnesses because of some of these people plead guilty in the Arizona case those same defendants who are pending charges in Georgia will almost certainly want to resolve the Georgia case as well so it could help the body roller skates much talk. America has lost perspectives on how to manage the old-style concept of democracy that has been talked about in this way for a long time.
