They are thieves. Borrow implies they asked for permission. They can just as easily save or buy a $10 kit. It was deliberate. OP needs to press charges and kick them out. There is a reason they are homeless.
Maybe I’m just cold hearted, but my breaking point would’ve come long before theirs, especially if my child was being robbed. I think if I had come home to find my house trashed like that by a guest, there wouldn’t have been a discussion like they had with the brother. I would’ve flat out told him he has till sundown to clean the entire house, and he has till the next day to pay me back for all the damages, or him and his spoiled princesses are out on the street. Also, I would’ve called the cops the second I noticed the money being taken from the account. I’m glad they finally stood up for their daughter, but I’m frustrated It took them so long to put her first. The dad gets somewhat of a pass because he was trying, But the mom is not much better than her man-child brother.
honestly if I was her parents I would have sent the twins and BIL out the house with a couple of flying slippers when the clothes went missing on the first day. Or I could be generous and make them pay all the tax, rent, and for the things they broke but no food for them. (they have to pay for it themselves) And let my kid delete everything on their computers and mess with their computers
It is. There was a Reddit story about a couple who had a daughter, and the wife’s brother and his *one* daughter who moved in and the niece was stealing OP’s daughter’s things, while the wife defended the niece. And the OP got a lock for his daughter’s room (which pissed the wife off). There was no trip away while the thieves stayed behind. No hospital visit, etc. A lot less dramatic. Can’t remember whether OP divorced his wife, or what caused OP to kick BIL and niece out. This sounds based on that thread, with a ton of soap opera level drama added.
90% sure this was an AI fake story. These ai stories always seem to flow inorganically, break laptop, feelings, trash house, feelings, steal money, feelings, health scare, feelings, consequences, feelings. Just gross misery words to make real people sad.
The mom is horrible and deservs to be divorced. How dare she treat her daughter like she is the problem when thieves invaded her privacy.
She must be the breadwinner, or the dads just a fughin coward.... They would've been gone as soon as they violated my real families space

If thats real, u should take him to court for emotional damage, damage to propriety, small theft, and many more
Hortible parents.. the mother it's worse tho
A biological relation means nothing even between siblings if other people are going to be abused

Im a tech repair shop so i could fix it
This story sounds fake to me, why would your brother/inlaw have access to your bank account?
