Just a tip, if you go into the side chutes without pikachu charged, it isn’t hopeless. If it’s going down the left side, lift the left bumper, then nudge the machine right just before it hits the corner of the death chute. If you time it correctly, it’ll toss the ball on top of the right bumper
a childhood classic two tipps if you want them Firs branch Evolution can be chosen by pressing up on the choosing witch pokemon to evolve screen. Scoond Savong the ball from Pika holes: This works better on ruby but saphire has better Access to the Pichu anways. If the ball enters the pika hole and you dont have the Charge lift the peddle on the Side youre ball is in and tilt at the last second the ball roles down before it leaves the ground, it will jump on youre opposite peddle. Hope this helps and i vant wait to see more :3
I gotta say, coming from watching the Digimon World Stream videos, this is much more relaxing, probably due to not having the repetitive footsteps that the Digimon have.
If you press the flapper buttons, you'll switch which lights are on above the Shroomish, this makes getting all three lit super easy! Edit: And the same for the HOLE lights near the flappers Edit: Nevermind, you figured it out. I commented this about 15 minutes in
Yeah don't worry about burning through this game too quickly; the *speedrun* for pokedex completion is 6 hours lol. Also I don't know when this was recorded but I'm pretty sure the person saying you can travel backwards was just wrong; the stages are in a set order, and which direction you send the ball determines how many spaces you move through that order
Im only 1:30 into the video so forgive me if you learn this during the remainder, but you can save your ball with a tilt if you raise one of the flippers as the ball is going down. Also you can change the order of the lights by the bumpers to get a great/ultra/master ball by pressing the flippers.
Last tip i promise lol, you can farm coins on the Ruby table by using the Makuhita to hit you into the coin lane. Then you can farm Extra Lives at the Poke Mart.
I remember watching someone speedrun a catch-em all of this game. They would use the earthquake (hitting the l/r buttons I think) when the ball went on the sides at the bottom to hit the ball back up above the opposite flipper
So because I haven't seen any other comments about some stuff yet ill give some game stuff. On Sapphire, pelipper will fly to the bonus zone if his panel is flashing as opposed to the normal white letter. The bonus multiplier you kept spinning will only apply once the ball is sunk. And also whiscash can earthquake if you dont do it right lmao
The tilt feature can be used for the benefit of the player. I was playing on an emulator earlier this year and on the Kecleon bonus stage my ball got stuck on a rock unable to move so in those instances it is kinda good to use the tilt move.
Joining the growing group of fans gently telling you that hitting the bumper buttons should move the "activated" buttons around so that you can get pokeball upgrades and H O L E easier, more comments for the algorithm amiright? But also, imo using the Ball Saver over the Pikas is preferable, as the Saver is up for a limited time anyways, and you don't wanna use a Pika charge when you don't need to, lest you leave yourself open for a future unfair angle slipping past the uncharged Pikas. Glad to see you having fun either way!
I will say tho that you're much better than I was at making use of the "tilt" action, I never could get the hang of it so I simply practiced some muscle memory for how to schmove the ball with the bumpers x3
@@Chronosis1911 oh lol, I'm sorta doing that in Cybersleuth right now too, tho if it's going to take 1000 hours I might take a break for a bit and actually do the story
You're a v-tuber now? Lame. Just kidding, I wasn't totally on board originally if I'm honest but it was weird watching an older video without it! I kind of missed it
The whole counting cards thing is literally because the house cannot win if you count cards. Basically, it doesn't affect how you play, it affects how you BET. so it's not like you know, oh there are this many face cards and 10s in the deck, so I'll hit, you literally just keep track of whether or not face cards have been played. And if they haven't been played a lot, then you bet high because a black jack is more likely. It's super obvious and they catch you immediately if you try to do it. Yeah it's stupid, but at the end of the day, what are you going to do? They can literally kick you out whenever they want to. My dad was telling me about different schemes where people try to get away with it, and it typically involves using multiple people. One scheme was a husband and a wife. The wife would sit and watch the husband play. When it was time to bet high, the husband would go to the bathroom and tell her to play a few hands for him while he used the bathroom, and she would bet high. And they got caught almost immediately too because the scheme was too simple. Casinos have a ridiculous amount of oversight.
@@kinnikuboneman It's... Difficult, and it varies between casinos. Which makes it more difficult. Realistically speaking, most casinos (I'd say all, but I don't know that) aren't shuffling after every hand dealt. Typically they'll use multiple decks though as well, which throws a few wrenches into the plan for multiple reasons. And because not all casinos operate the same way, it makes it harder to come up with a plan. I think the biggest thing preventing people from doing it is just how hard it is to get away with it. To ensure you make money counting cards, you would need to do it for an extended period of time, and it's really hard to do that with how much casinos keep an eye on that sort of thing. They really treat it almost exactly like cheating, with the only exception being that when someone is actually cheating they can take legal action.

I don't think card counting is much of a thing anymore with how most casinos shuffle cards now
