Excellent. The geometry of pattern & sewing steps very well explained. Colours & backgrounds well chosed & clearly visible to the learner. Good editing. Stay blessed.
- VERY nicely done & thanks a multimillion for the detailed geometric dimensions that makes it easily adaptable to smaller or larger. Also like the stylized back point. Thanx 4 sharing.
I'm truly math challenged and gave myself a headache trying to figure the dimensions for my grandson's head (61mm). Help me please? I'll be forever grateful! Thank you!
I hope I can be useful to other viewers who, like me, don't have 55 cm hat size. I've found this video which, while it doesn't give the exact measures for making the pattern, tells you how to take the initial measurements (in inches) on the final wearer's head ua-cam.com/video/0Ab57_fC_As/v-deo.html Between the two, you should be able to use simple proportions to get the precise measures for the size you need
@@christinaoladele4278 1) I have used cotton khadi fabric but you can use any fabric of your choice. Flat caps are mostly made of wool, tweed, cotton, leather, corduroy or linen. 2) To make the cap stiff you will require fusible interfacing. 3) Plastic sheet.
Thank you so much❤. Is this pattern also suitable for men and if i want to make the Large and small size which measurements/dimensions do i use. Thank you
It is generally suitable for men, but we aren’t going to want the back of the hat to dip down like this pattern does, presumably to accentuate long hair. I’m definitely saving this video even though I’d have to convert all the measurements to English because my 70 year old mom (she’s the one who sews) wouldn’t know a centimeter if it was right in front of her. Sadly, I’ve a few Pendleton woolen mills shirts that are nearing the end of their useful lives. They belonged to my Grandfather, so CAPS!

Agradezco me puedan ayudar
When pressed....the size doesn't fit !
This is why when you start a project your 1st step should ALWAYS be to pre wash and iron your fabrics
Very very small ...! Don't undertstand why ?
Because no measure corresponds
