Once is the lead singer of Dewa at that time after the former lead singer, Arie left the band because of his drug addicted... Dewa is one of the greatest band in Indonesia, their songs ( I would say masterpiece) never get old 😁
their original band's name was DEWA, abbreviation from their members first name, D=Dhani, E=Erwin, W=Wawan, A=Andra-Arie... then they launched an album back when they were 19 years old and named it the album as 19...since then the band is known as DEWA19. and when the lead singer was replaced by the new one and changed their music concept, they back again to their original name, DEWA...DEWA19 is the same as DEWA band

Hi robk. Dewa 19 and dewa are the same band. Dewa 19 are from from 92-98, in 1998, Ari Lasso, their former vocalist left the band due to his drugs addictions. And in 99 Once Mekel join the band. And Ahmad Dhani changed their name to DEWA. Despite the name differences both era has their own character in musical performances. Both are genius

Dhani isnt just keyborder in this band, but he is the best leader, best frend for his friend, I think there is no any band in this country can do what dhani do. He can make this band exist till now. Arie, tio once out from this band but they still exist to make this band on form.
6:16 there's actually a genre called "Indo Rock", it's a fusion of Netherland music and Indonesian music. One of the band that brought it called "The Tielmans Brother", an old band.
