I love the lord but i never liked the music..... and that's ok. it's for HIM not me. but wow i wish i had discovered this genre sooner because this hits the spot. there's a time and place for the loud boisterous stuff, like in church. i give praise and i worship and bless the lord all the time... i just do it different than most and they always make me feel guilty for that. the way i see it is we're all soldiers in this spiritual war. some of us are more wounded than others. when you're wounded it's hard to jump around and shout. you don't expect someone with broken bones to do that. neither should you expect that from someone with a broken spirit. we'll get there. we just have to finish healing. God knows this and is way more understanding than his children. I think God is happy to spend any time with us no matter what state we're in. this is really driven home in Will Reagan's song.

It was evident that she fell asleep during her devotion but I stood there in tears. I've been really struggling because I find most Christian music boring, whenever I say that people look at me like I said I hated God or something but its not because its about God, its because its boring to me. The songs are always the same things and I don't like them, but I'm thinking if I can find enough music thats Christian in a genre that I like, I'll end up enjoying it more *because* its about God and the tune and vibe won't won't end up mattering as much.

I love the lord but i never liked the music..... and that's ok. it's for HIM not me. but wow i wish i had discovered this genre sooner because this hits the spot.
there's a time and place for the loud boisterous stuff, like in church. i give praise and i worship and bless the lord all the time... i just do it different than most and they always make me feel guilty for that.
the way i see it is we're all soldiers in this spiritual war. some of us are more wounded than others. when you're wounded it's hard to jump around and shout. you don't expect someone with broken bones to do that. neither should you expect that from someone with a broken spirit.
we'll get there. we just have to finish healing. God knows this and is way more understanding than his children. I think God is happy to spend any time with us no matter what state we're in.

It was evident that she fell asleep during her devotion but I stood there in tears. I couldn't help but worship quietly, pray over her and lay one hand over the speaker to pray for those listening to this music and those responsible for this beautiful mix. May it bring the peace and desire to seek God as it has happened in my home.

I've been really struggling because I find most Christian music boring, whenever I say that people look at me like I said I hated God or something but its not because its about God, its because its boring to me. The songs are always the same things and I don't like them, but I'm thinking if I can find enough music thats Christian in a genre that I like, I'll end up enjoying it more *because* its about God and the tune and vibe won't won't end up mattering as much.
