You can propagate philodendrons by submerging cuttings in water. Make sure the cuttings have a leaf and aerial roots, same as shown in this video. Leave it submerged for 2 weeks in a glass jar, put in shade, and provide bright indirect light for the leaf. No need to seal off the wound with candles. I was able to propagate 14 cuttings of my green emerald this way with 100% success rate. Hope this helps!

Honestly if you don’t let the ends harden off first mabubulok lang kasi ma ta trap ung moist end sa loob ng wax. Hindi needed ang wax. Just let the ends dry off. You can add dithane sa cut ends to prevent fungal infection
Sir good morning, ask lang ng advice, i cut my 8 yr old billetaei na mahaba na ang trunk then maraming lumabas na suhi almost 28 na suhi ang probpem is almost 5 months na wala pa ni isang aerial root na lumabas sa kada suhi. Afraid ako magseparate baka mamatay kc wala pang aerial roots. I used ANAA, cover the trunk with soil, pero wala paring lumabas. Ang suhi po na pinalamalaki ay 5 leaves na, 4leaves yung iba yag dalawa.how to induce aerial roots pi para maseparate kona sa trunk para lumaki na yung ibang suhi nya.thank you po.
