Wow guys I genuinely didn’t expect this type of feedback. I genuinely was just yapping and didn’t think so many of you would relate as much as you do. I love the words of encouragement and also the fact that I could articulate these thoughts in a way many of you probably didn’t think to. I’m happy the real message didn’t fly over y’all’s heads. I feel overwhelmed when u speak about your friends antisocial behavior from people who I love put me in a panic mood and I over think and get very timid. So now my friend Shelby stop jump up for ppl who don't want you to level up and prosper with them on the other side them toxic vibe tells u all about them sometimes silent treatment or first hailings attitude yes i know girl friend it hurts deep.
Whew “Stop expecting you from other people” is soo hard to accept.
As an only child I can relate to wanting to be alone but not wanting to feel lonely 💛

Adulting is so damn ghetto! I have days when I don’t wanna see anyone in my face. I literally don’t wanna deal with ppl, then I remember I have to get up and go to work and be the best teacher ever 😫😫😫

Oh, this is so real. Yes, this is exactly what you realize the older you get and you not in the same spaces, school or same jobs where it's convenient to be your friend because you gonna see them everyday anyways, so they come n talk. You don't hear from people, they certainly not checking in, worse mek you ask for help, nobody shows up. Even when they said they would.

I felt this. I cut off someone that don’t even know they cut off bcuz one thing I’m not gonna do is tell u what u do wrong either, ima just cut up off bcuz you’re grown enough to do what u do. I be feeling the same and I just don’t care about having friends anymore. I rather be alone. I’m fine with it.
I don’t really like silent cut offs tbh. I’ve never been that person 😭 I rather just tell you how it is and then distance myself. Because *sometimes* people don’t realize what they’re doing but a lot of times they absolutely know. So it’s difficult sometimes 🥹

The intention behind anything you do is key. If you are a good person then what others do or dont do in return is irrelevant. If you are genuinely kind at heart and no one is kind in return, that should not change the core of who you are. You're gonna be kind regardless.
I can relate, the older I get the more I realize that some people aren't genuine and my circle gets smaller but I try to protect my peace and just pray to God 🙏🏽.
I wish I could truly express how much I relate to Shelby! When I hear her saying certain things she's experiencing it's like hearing someone reading out my life to me.
