This will be remembered by thousands of people forever as a standout moment during a time that everyone currently living will otherwise long to forget.
Nothing beats the community of a good festival, but between the discord chats and the INCREDIBLE performances of these artists.. Digital Mirage was the best weekend of 2020 and I don't know how anyone could, or would, ever forget it
I’ve liked G Jones since 2012 at least... but haven’t listened to any bass music for a long time, this is amazing to come back to, the dreamy melodies that take your to the clouds, the modern drum kits bringing some sharpness to the groovy bass lines, the trap element of rising and crashing, dropping energy into a fusion of sounds taking you on an eclectic trip you can just ride to. Missed this so much!
Gjones and glitchmob are basically why I can still point to ableton as cutting edge, and not just some music production oddity of software. That software and the people who fux with it, have actually changed what music is.
ur now one of the few artists whose creative vision I can say I completely trust like I was already in love with ur music and aesthetic and everything but now ur just a str8 up legend m8 idk what to even say
Thank you for all of this Proximity and Brownies & Lemonade Now upload Shades... and in the possible future try getting Tsuruda, Charlesthefirst, Of The Trees, VCTRE, Black Carl, Integrate, anyone from Lost Dogz, anyone from Wakaan, the man himself Liquid Stranger and for the wishful thinkers... Flume, Porter, and RL Grime :DD
Hey Greg, It's been a week of listening on loop and now I'm addicted. I'll need to go to the G Jones Anonymous for rehabilitation, unless you publish the whole song and unless you extend that incredibly majestic part that starts roughly at the 31:00 minute mark. Thank you
Look, I absolutely adored The Ineffable Truth live sets, but they were all the exact same plus or minus a song/effect/ttransition here and there. Which I completely understand because it's the exact same concept as a band having a setlist for a tour based onan album, which is exactly what he was doing. But after seeing them many many times, most of which being in-person live experiences, THIS IS A BREATH OF FRESH FUCKIN AIR! Boy it's so nice to hear new tunes and a different order of he mixing. So so very nice. Also would be cool to hear more DJ sets from him again! Thanks Proximity!
dude every single comment on this vid.... yeah. pretty much sums up how I feel. this one's been the soundtrack to my life the past 2 years, thank you g jones. you inspire beyond words
Damn G Jones is one of my favorite producers and this was my first time seeing you live on Sunday and watching it again was even better. Definitely killed it this set. everything all at once and acid drift mix was just nutty 🔥
Holy fuck this is prog dubstep. Love it. Feels like an evolution of Daft Punk and Justice live show, if anyone remembers those, where they remix and mash up their own tracks as a dj set.
Hulaween 18. kicking it with the fam at the campsite and throwing on your new album that dropped that same day was one of the greatest moments of my life. collectively listening to that new bass for the first time together and exploring these sonic frequencies connected us. our camp neighbors were just out of high school & had never been to a festival before and they got really mad for us bumping your music at 2am because they were trying to sleep. They didn't live there and G Jones just dropped that fresh ❤️ can't stop what was just started
I used to make jokes about how the ableton crew(glitchmob, and many others) basically found every sound that ever could ever be heard. Gjones may have proofed my joke theory.
Yeah. This is fire. I remember the set on twitch during coh veed. Porter Robinson's Secret Sky Festival. That was a highlight for sure. This is excellent though. Same style, yet more underground and less pop music stylized.
I say this too often, yet you should consider checking out AmonTobin - ISAM2.0 That is such an excellent amalgamation of sound and visuals. I love that set so much.
@@nelsonrivera9635 Right on. If you have enough bandwidth and HD tv access on a device, I would highly recommend the 1080p(or higher reso) streams of those 2 recommendations. Specifically AmonTobin.
"That Look In Your Eye" has the voice tweaks that made me blast so hard on DMT like the voice play of "The Queen Of All Everything" by Ott!! Bro please make a trippy, wonky, trancey song with crazy voice sounds like that I love it! 💚

That’s my favorite part!
Idk man, he hit it on the illusory volumes

JESUS nobody does it like G Jones I mean holy fuck he is in a totally different lane
This set was my introduction to G Jones, and I'm so glad this guy exists. This is pure talent on such a high level.

@@py_a_thon oh definitely
i find myself constantly coming back to this one. as a producer it inspires me, as a musician it leaves me speechless
It’s all about you
This is like everything good about dubstep evolved without the corny parts
seriously. hes so good with it
But it’s not dubstep.... 🤦🏻♂️
Definitely not dubstep homie lol
absolutely
i no longer want to listen to stuff that isn't as good as this
this is bass music. its its own community/movement. youtube Emissions Festival. tons of other artists like G Jones. he even played there in 2014
G Jones just upped the entire bar for all producers during a pandemic. Hats off.
He and Shades showed how it's done once again, God tier stuff
Without a shadow of a doubt. I as an artist hope that I can even come close to touching the beauty that this being is capable of.

Was my first time catching him live back in January of this year. Ineffable truth set was unlike anything else I've ever seen/heard.
THE CROSS FROM THAT LOOK IN YOUR EYE INTO DARK ARTIFACT HAS ME DROOLING
As usual, amazing performance. G Jones is the best bass producer that lives
I can't get enough of thoes Aphex Twin like drums and the sick-twisted sounds and beats.
What a talent.
That mix of Everything all at once and Drift acid mix was all I needed😭❤
I was thinking the SAME THING
and then the mashup w/ in your head which started kinda weird but got AMAZING real fast

One of the first definitions I gave it was progressive as well
bass music! look up EPROM and Tek Genesis. deviating from this particular style you might like Noisia, KOAN Sound, and Mr. Bill
