‘A genius that can talk while playing musical instrument’
Brass&woodwind players: *...*
ever try singing into your mouthpiece
@@rodolfoferri6057 I've seen you self promoting your page by replying to the top comments on multiple channels for a while now. It's annoying.
Rodolfo Ferri yeah, twosetviolin’s comment section is not for promoting your channel.
Ling ling can do it 😂
as a middle school saxophone player, ive done this perfectly. my other accomplishments that you never wanted to hear about include being a great liar.
Talking and playing at the same time for the different instruments
Guitar: yeah ok, not too bad.
Piano: works for me!
Percussionists: Yesssss
Violinists: I can but I don't want to.
French horn: ..........
Ling Ling can talk while playing them all at the same time.
any woodwind instrument player: ...
Any brass instrument basically. And woodwinds with reeds
Me being a wind player:...
@@calvinnotklein6368 yeah. Sorry I forgot you...
I’ve never heard Brett sound as australian as this. It must be the slow talking.
9:42 especially the pRodiGy, got me laughing 😂
Ishita Nager pROdiJAY
Brett is dying of laughter
and roasting himself
@@i_e_she Bruh I'm Aussie and holy crap that is like full on 'good eye might' level Australian
Everyone: OK, now we don't have to worry about the bad focus on the Mic anymore cuz it wasn't there.
*The music stand has entered the chat* "Oh you thought?!
Yes
LMAO
music stand: hold my rosin.
Sorry in advance for the camera focus being worse than Brett's eyesight
lol your comment
I loved how Eddy played an entire piece of him talking about his Sibelius drop. Lol
I loved how that piece was actually Sibelius, too bad that was not the entire piece

"This is so hard, it's like you don't know what to focus on!"
Pianists playing extremely difficult polyrythmic pieces : "first time?"
hahalord *cough* F u scriabin *cough*
I fried my brain playing one of Bartok's polyrithmic pieces when I was a student and never recover.
That's what I blame for my lack of improvement instead of not practicing.
Similar, but not quite the same, really. With polyrhythm, both separate things you're focusing on are still intended to have a specific rhythm. With speaking, you're supposed to speak in a natural flow, which does not have a specific rhythm
It doesn't even have to be extremely complicated. You can bluescreen your brain in something quite simple like the Fantasie Impromptu if you come off muscle memory and start actually thinking too much about what you're playing. Piano is dangerous!
John Wallace that's litteraly the pianist version of shaky bow
1. It’s enjoyable watching Twoset struggling at both playing and talking
2. Eddy trying to get rid of his 3 mil Sibelius
3. A true Twoset camera never focuses
4. Niu Cor Por djfhuebfksb
What a hilarious day.
😂😂
This comment is brilliant. F
Lol their aussie accent seems to be 10x stronger when they try to talk while playing or is it just me
Very true
i cant even tell cause im australian too
Especially when Brett said "prodigy" 😂
@@reaganb6013 totally! I thought he accidentally said protégé but I listened again and it was just super accented. Accénted, you might say.
When you just know Eddy’s gonna start singing cause of his perfect pitch.
ViLatte Knapp I don‘t think it has something to do with perfect pitch. I tried the same challenge and also started singing although I don‘t have perfect pitch^^ it‘s a natural thing imo, and one doesn‘t need perfect pitch to sing along.
@@valeaves I think that's because of relative pitch that you get the tendency to sing the right pitch. Now imagine having the perfect pitch that makes you feel you HAVE to get the right pitch, an even stronger tendency!
All I'm saying is, OP isn't saying you have to have perfect pitch to get that singing-along tendency while talking. We just knew he wouldnt be able to help it because of his perfect pitch.
All it is, is pitch matching. Anyone who is trained in music should be able to easily no perfect pitch required.
I think it's actually pretty hard, to not match the tune, either in relative or perfect pitch. If your musically trained you learn to avoid notes out of harmony so you automatically start singing (or at least talking) in harmony
JojoMuseful I even think that most people try to avoid notes out of harmony. When there‘s notes without harmony, most people know/can hear it. It just doesn‘t sound „good“. So, I believe, even people that aren‘t musically trained would try to match the pitch (the question is if they succeed).
Eddy: starts playing
His voice: lets sing a D in a nice deep tone
Me: this sounds better than most of our choirs' bases
Sounds better than their Christmas Carol ...
literally me whenever i hear aNY guy sing
Joey B yup because we musicians are socially awkward and don't participate in school activities ...
if your bases think that D is a low note, that is definitely a problem 😂
Johann Bach it is for a school kid , though ..
10:09 the way Brett accidentally sang "because" actually straight up sounds like a disney character. I can't stop replaying that part 😂
Oh yes, no wonder it sounds familiar! So nice!
Sounds like the beginning of the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto 😂😂😂😂
3:15 sorry in advance for the camera focus being worse than brett's eyesight
OOOOOOOOOH
Ya I saw that
R O A S T E D
w e l p
I didn't see it. Maybe my eyesight is as bad as Brett's.
Editor-san is so savage
brett sounds like normal talking, but eddy sounds like he's narrating a theater performance
For anyone interested:
Brett: Alright, here we go. I should do okay, because when I was younger, my mum used to come into my room all the time without knocking the door while I was practicing. I would be like “what the hell mum?? The door exists for a reason.” Anyway, so then I would ask what she needs while I kept on playing. You know what she would say? “Are you staying at home for dinner tonight?” For real mum? Is it so important that you had to ask me right now when I’m clearly doing something important? But for instances like that, I usually just say “yes” and it wouldn’t affect my playing. This is the end of my ted talk. Thanks for coming.
Eddy: I know you guys have been wanting to hear me play Sibelius when we hit 3 million subscribers. I told you guys already sibelius is much harder. I ensure you really don’t want to hear me play without enough practice. So maybe later...? Maybe...5mil? But we’re never making promises casually again. We’ve learnt our lesson. So don’t get your hopes up yet. This is the closest you can get to my Sibelius drop for now. You already got Brett’s Tchaik and my Nel Cor piugtshghfrdnfj sento, be greatful Just kidding, love you guys
Brett: Musical geniuses are born, not created. If you just so happen to be born a violin prodigy, you don’t even have to take violin lessons, you just magically know how to play Paganini the very second you come out of the womb. You don’t need to go to university and learn all the music history and theory to polish your playing to a more advanced level, because the musicality just comes within you. You don’t even have to practice, because these magical music skills that you’re born with will stay with you forever and never go away. How anAaaAzing! If you’re not born a genius, sorry to break it to you, but just quit already. All 40hr practice sessions your pulled through was a complete waste. Consider starting a UA-cam channel instead.
Eddy: I was knocked off in a bike accident about 4 years ago, it really hurt my wrist. My friend said, “Eddy, why don’t you see this as a target of rehabilitation? Why don’t you go for this Guiness World Record?” It had been set, and I aim to break it. The Challenge was to make it in under a minute. Can we do that? Well, I am the first person to ever do it. If you can play something slowly, you can play it quickly. So i played it very slowly, and then i got a little quicker. And eventually I got to 15 notes a second. By the way, the sacrilegious hoodie is available on twosetapparel.com. Go get it!
Written for twosetters who want to PRACTICE while reading this.
so Go Practice.
Fe 26 LOL thank you!
It’s crazy! Tried mentally playing it and it’s impossible to follow
These passages are so funny. Ed and Brett's friend whoever you are lol Thanks bro

I totally agree. Respect for their dignity as true musicians and for their time to practice.

I wish someone in the top comments did this for all of their videos 😭😅
1:35 that bass, Brett! Yet ANOTHER glimpse of that beautiful singing voice you keep hiding! You know, another option for an encore would be for you to sing something seriously. Doesn't have to be opera or anything classical, just a simple pop or jazz song will do, as long as it's just you. Don't go hiding behind Eddy!
And 10:08 🤓
*"I can't talk to you I'm Practicing"*

It's 2.82M now
@Kristiana Maureen yeah, I think they were scared shitless back then because they were experiencing a massive growth in subscribers and thought they had to drop the concerto by May, but now it's 8 months later and they're still missing 140,000 subs to get to the million, so they should be able to make it.

Oh my gosh it’s like a full 23 seconds before he moves again. How did I not notice that?!??

Seeing Brett can’t keep his mouth closed while not talking like he’s learning to talk for the first time is so much fun.Thank you.
This was your funniest video in some time! Brett sounding like an alien trying to speak like a Normal Human in the first one, Eddy trying not to sing, Brett delivering his second lines with great intensity, and the friend's lines poking fun. Amazing! =P
Eddy, "Oh are we wearing the same shirt?"
Brett, "Oh Shi.."
Sounds like Eddy fangirling Brett and got rejected by Brett...

watching their 2017 vids vs 2019 vids: do they not care about their haircut anymore

TwoSet, I started watching you about two weeks ago, came across your videos by accident and stayed a while. I had never listened to classical music before, known anything about scales or played any kind of instrument except guitar in secondary school. I've just come back from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra concert in Debussy and Ravel. Listened unironically to La Mer live, grinning like crazy, and cried at the end of the first movement. It was one of the most beautiful things I've ever experienced and it's all because of you. Thank you and love you both to bits!
