      Sleeping, this was taken late afternoon. Most animals are most active after dark or in the early morning hours.

      ENOCH MAWULI black panthers are relativ common in south Asia's rainforests. Really rare in africa. So it's in the wrong area :p

      ENOCH MAWULI Don't worry ;) Don't know why but in the 80s almost every other zoo had black panthers. Today more black jaguars and white tigers are more common in zoos. Maybe because leopards today are of a certain subspecies, white tigers only are bengal tigers - while lions and jaguars mosly at zoos are a mix og subspecies.

      Actually, it turns out that it's a melanistic Amur Leopard. Yes, Amur Leopard. It's a female and her name is Mystique. And it turns out that all the leopards in this new exhibit are Amur Leopards instead of African Leopards.
