I came here for the comments because I knew they would be awesome. I have friends who are hasidic so let me try to explain what you are seeing. This is called the "mitzvah dance". It occurs after most of the wedding is over. So the ceremony has taken place, they have all eaten dinner and already danced. In the Jewish faith, men and women do not mingle with each other (except for those who are very closely related) so the dancing takes place on two separate sides of a very large room separated by a room divider. The women have already all danced with the bride. Now, at the end (usually between 2 and 4 a.m.) the father, grandfather and other close Male relatives are dancing before the bride. The women ARE there watching, but it is considered immodest for them to appear on camera. And it is not a dog leash that she is holding as some pointed out. It is a fabric belt that hasidic men wear around their waists. She holds one end, and the men hold the other end because it is inappropriate for them to touch in public so this is how they connect to each other. So this is kind of like a father daughter dance... I understand that this culture is very hard for many to comprehend....but this is their tradition for hundreds of years...
That's what they told you. Charming. Did they include that the bride needed to be properly and officially deflowered just after the ceremony, no time to waste? Bride and groom are taken to a private room for a few minutes to be alone. The woman has a duty to perform, consummation of the wedding contract is required if she wants dinner. Perhaps one of the reasons Zaideh is dancing, and the Challa can't move very well.
@@davidh9844 Where did u get your information? That's 100 percent not accurate. I know because while I am not hasidic, I am Jewish and have been to many weddings of friends and family. They do go into a private room for a few minutes immediately after the ceremony because according to Jewish law it is not appropriate to do anything affectionate in public. Also, most religious Jews have the custom of fasting on their wedding day and spending the time leading up to the ceremony praying for a happy and successful life together. So when they go to the room you are referring to, called the Yichud room (yichud means private and alone) the bride and groom eat something and usually share their first kiss...much like "you may now kiss the bride" only in private. What goes on in the bedroom happens in the bedroom after the wedding...most couples go to a hotel or on a short honeymoon and what they do there is their business. Do most ppl consummate their marriage? Sure, but that's what wedding night is like in most cultures.

Honestly, ONE 18 yr old girl standing there on a leash w/ no other females in sight for support & a thousand repressed perv dudes drooling over her… SICK!
I love these traditions..❤❤❤🎵🎵
What do you love? The total annihilation of the woman
its very sad that the vivid jewish life culture and traditions are not present anymore in Europe...yeah Antwerp maybe? but Poland Ukraine had biig communities from what i"ve read. Its good to see that despite the mcdonald culture and consumerism of USA...each nation still maintains its own culture
Respect!!
It would have been neat to experience a living shtetl or even a ghetto. There is, however, a place in Azerbaijan called Red Town (Qırmızı Qəsəbə in Azeri) that is supposedly the world's only all-Jewish town outside Israel and, I guess, Kiryas Joel in New York and is home to an old community of Mountain Jews. Could be worth a visit.
Надо выучить движения и на сельскую дискотеку.
Wow! This is very powerful. I never seen weddings like this one. This is expressing the profound meaning of marriage. God himself would have rejoicing and dancing with great joy over Adam and Eve marriage had they waited to get his blessing. Instead Adam and Eve started their marriage without God’s blessing
Mohammad never believed in wedding . he used to kill the people who will not pay him money and rape their wives. Wedding is in Judaism and Christianity. while Islam just believes in nikaah!
SHUT your stupid trap dunce. This is ONE 18 yr old girl on a leash all alone with 1200 pervert men leering at her. You’re SICK!

Judging from your name I presume you’re not Jewish. As a Jew, after seeing so many baseless, empty, ignorant and hateful remarks, you restore my lost hope in humankind.
@@kinsler212 Thank you for your comment, no I am not Jewish, but all these remarks, you are mentioning are painful for me as well.
Это очень красивый обряд, Танец Мицва ! Такая мощная энергетика и благославение равинна, а также старейших. Безусловно эта пара молодоженов будет счаслива, дай им Господь долгие лета и здоровья, а также много детишек. 💞🎉🎊🔯
I'm a Jew. And to think that my (to be) wife and I just went down to city hall with a couple of friends as witnesses, and waited until the judge had finished settling a traffic court dispute...
You didn’t waste your time hemming and hawing to some “Deity” who couldn’t give one iota about you or anyone else.
@@stevepipenger4651 I'm not seeing people here "hemming and hawing to a deity." I see joyful people singing and dancing. Most people spend their lives in pursuit of tips and ass, porno, money, fancy cars. I guess that's a fulfilled life. 😅🤣. Before you condemn others think of the alternatives: high divorce rates, drugs, criminality, gross materialism, weak and unsupported families and communities.

Oh, yes! The bride is dancing absolutely divinely....
The poor bride.
She chooses modesty, no one is enforcing her to be part of that culture. She sees it a privilege to stay modest like that. In Judaism the greatest of things are ones that stay unseen, such as G-d, the soul, women and things to do with intimacy.
There's a line in the Talmud that says: "Blessing only stays in that which stays hidden from the eyes".
@@NavesNiche Thank you Nave for your comment. I did not say anything about a religion or anything about her feelings related to religious matters. I only made an innocent remark about a "procedure" that for some reason is called "dancing". This is all.
Oh, besides, I'm a traditional Jew and have "some knowledge" about this after I spent a few years on Hebrew and Judaism studies (Torah study and religious rules). It was great and these studies had dramatic changes on me and my vision of the world.💪🙌

Can you expand on that please
jupitergrls j I heard they don't work and live entire life on charity with family and kids ! Because of this their family have to live in abject poverty ! Is that not true ?
I had not known that about them. I will have to do more research on how they live as I don't know about their culture and only came across this video by accident.
I came across some very interesting articles to read. And I did !These people were practically annihilated at one point. This alone gives some understanding as to why they exercise some practices as they do. As for the rest...I will not judge. I as well as the rest of humanity are only here for but a short time and in that time I do my best to learn and try to come to some form of understanding of our world and those that share it.That does not mean I will always agree, but it does mean I try to educate myself and show tolerance.

You seldom hear anything bad that Jewish men do to their women. So please be kind and respectful when commenting. If you have nothing nice to say move along. Bless the new couple. I’m not Jewish but I can admire the devotion and commitment to serve the creator.
People are so jealous of Jews so they have to be negative
Carol Wilmot 💯, without a single doubt. Jealousy combined w. Low IQ.... = deadly poison.
Aphrodite, you are so sweet and kind hearted. As a Jew, it warms my heart when I see our wonderful non-Jewish brothers and sisters show love, or at least (these days) the common of respect. Our people badly need to hear and see it, today, with all the anti-Semitic violence & murder going on. To be reminded that not all people are like that, just an evil few. And that we do have allies, that are a bit different or believe differently, but still stand for the right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness for ALL PEOPLE! G-d bless! 😘😘😘😘💕💕💕💕🌈🌈🌈🌈
