AIKA 🌸 - Friend

On Oct. 6th of this year, I lost my best friend, Jack. Despite October being filled with music and art, my heart has been heavy since. I wrote this song to cherish the precious memories I had with him. 2018 was one of the lowest points of my life, at the time, I held a great animosity towards almost every aspect of myself for various irrational reasons. Then came one day in the midst of my misery I went and rescued Jack, abandoned on the streets by his previous family. There I realized he needed care and love just as much as I did, and since then we have created an unbreakable bond. We were by each other's side till the end. Today marks the day I rescued him 5 years ago

Man I'm sorry for your loss, this hits way too close, I've lost one of my two cats, she was always there for me when I needed her, I still cherrish all the good memories we've made along our journey, it hurts so much to see my other cat stare into the mirror sometimes as if shes looking for her younger sister to come back, may Jack rest and find his peace 😭

My doggo friend of mine just pass away today when I go to check on him form Anemia. At frist I did not cry but feel so heavy. Then I tell my mom and sister who live far away. About the news while listen to this song. And while I typing I just broke down right there on my bed after haven't cry for like 5 to 6 years. My mom confront me and send so many pictures of me and doggo when we were young too, While I'm crying right there telling her by message.
Now form this point on I think this song gonna be one of my favorites form you Aika. Just by how much it resonate with me today.

I lost alot of pets over the years so this hits home pretty hard. I remember my husky was put down, my chihuahua died of an unknown illness, along with many other pets I owned. Losing a pet can be devastating but we have to keep going. It’s hard yes but suffering in pain wouldn’t be what those pets would’ve wanted. We gave them good lives…at least they’re in better places. ❤❤❤❤

It makes me cry a lot. I lost my best friend. He was also a feline friend. He has been always with me when I really needed company. Listening to this song made me remember the best moments that I had with him.
