I booked a BW hotel is Copenhagen in October of last year with Eurobonus points. It was 18,000 a night, which was an amazing bargain for central Copenhagen. I booked it four months in advance. Two nights. Okay, so this year I am thinking, why not a few days in Copenhagen at that hotel? I have searched random dates, any dates, from autumn through summer and nothing is less than about 48,000 points per night there now. I don't know if I was just lucky last year or what. It's like sticker shock this year and very disappointing. 😢

Uttelling for poengene er litt vanskelig å beregne da det kommer an på klassen og distansen man ønsker. F.eks. Kan man fly innenlands tur/retur for 10 000 poeng i økonomi. Hvis du vil fly business t/r til USA er det 130 000 poeng.
Personally I think Amex would be the best. Spending 200.000kr per year can give you a t/r ticket to USA/Asia. For Mastercard it is not always easy to have more than 200.000 point balance in your account
I agree with you! The Amex companion ticket can be used on all Star Alliance award flights. The Mastercard Fly Premium can only be used on SAS flights. But you don't need to have 200 000 points to get the highest level in Fly Premium. Only if you have earned 200 000 points within a 12 month rolling calendar year.
Absolutely brilliant video, especially as im just receiving my first card today the sas Mastercard premium. can I connect it to my Vipps and earn points every time I Vipps also?

Dette høres ut som en killer kombo der Amex primært brukes så CT kan benyttes men ha Saga kortet i bakhånd der Amex ikke aksepteres. Høres fornuftig ut?

Jeg mener det, men husker ikke 100% sikkert nå. Lenge siden jeg har opplevd det i det siste. Om du vil bytte over til Saga etter CTen er opptjent er litt opp til deg. Bruker du 100k på saga får du også 10k statuspoeng og nye 10k ved 200k brukt. Da har du EuroBonus Silver
Kommer litt an på hva du ønsker å oppnå. Ønsker du statuspoeng i tillegg, så er det lettere med DNB Saga hvis du bruker 200k i året. Saga er billigere også med 1668kr i året, mot Mastercard Premium som koster 2335kr i året. Men så har jo Premiumkortet fly premium også, som er ganske sweet hvis man er på nivå 4, med Business Bonus seter til prisen av GO Bonus. Poengopptjeningsmessig er det liten forskjell, noen ganger kjører Premiumkortet kampanjer med ekstra opptjening, som kan være nice. Jeg har begge og bruker DNB kortet til jeg når 200k og bytter til Premium etter det.
One question, because I have the elite card amex in norway, but is not generally accepted anywhere, can I have 2 SAS cards? I mean the amex sas elite I currently have and apply for the mastercard premium sas? that way can I conbine benefits?
I do see more and more stores accepting Amex in Norway every day, but if you’re tapping the card it often fails, I always tries to use the chip as well, just to be sure. You can have both Amex and SAS Mastercard at once, but you can only use either the companion ticket or the fly premium voucher when you book with SAS (it’s not possible to combine both together). Points you will earn from both of the cards 😉
If you want to fly other places than Europe and use multiple carriers in Star alliance (soon Skyteam), I would say yes. If you only fly Norwegian and within Europe, Norwegian rewards is good.
Yes, EuroBonus also have access to the rest of the Star alliance award seats in Europe (Lufthansa, Swiss, LOT etc.) Norwegian fly to a lot of places in Europe as well.
Between Amex Elite and MC Premium for 150000 kr, you can already avail CT for Amex Elite but you are not qualified for fly premium because this will give you only about 30k points. Is that correct?
The main difference is that you earn Norwegian Reward Points with the Bank Norwegian credit card. Reward Points can only be used on Norwegian flight. Eurobonus credit cards earns Eurobonus points, which can be used on SAS flights, but also Star Alliance flight as well.
It’s worth having star alliance gold or soon SkyTeam elite plus if you fly more than in regular holidays. You get through the airport quicker and get access to lounge. But the cost vs value depends on what you prefer :)

Yeah, it's a hard requirement. However you can combine your income with your partner, maybe that will help. Try to call them as well, as I know people have gotten it just by calling.
Det er korrekt at ikke alle butikker tar amex, men flere og flere tar det. Noen ganger virker ikke tæpping og man må bruke chip. Jeg prøver alltid kortet først, funker ikke det, bruker jeg et annet SAS kort. Du kan sjekke hvem som tar Amex her: amexvenn.no
Ja, Mastercard upgrade gir deg poeng på lik linje med Amex når du bruker kortet. Du får også 10k statuspoeng hvis du bruker 100k og nye 10k ved 200k forbruk.

Well it’s actually possible to convert Amex points to Eurobonus in Germany as well. 5 Amex points are 4 Eurobonus points.

The UK Amex also allows conversion to Eurobonus. 1MR = 1EB point.

Yes, that is correct. It’s all the accumulating points (basic and extra points) the last 12 months that qualify you for fly premium.
Any knowledge of Bank Norwegian? Whats the difference between a bank Norwegian Credit card and a SAS eurobonus creditcard?
