In the U.S. the MC20's biggest competitor is the Corvette, which many argue is technically a better overall car, but when you consider the exotic factor of the MC20, I think it's a toss-up. My solution is to have one of each.
For the ladies: best way to enter any car - You turn your back to the seat, sit down and turn your legs into the car. It is super elegant and easy to do.

@@luxelist It was a little snug for me but I managed to get inside. I am a 6’ 4” tall man and weigh around 275 pounds. But the dealer in Coral Gables, Florida was more than friendly when I asked to sit inside. But once I got in I fit ok for being a big guy.
I’m going to jump in here guys. Maserati has been making cars for a very long time and I will give them credit that’s for sure. Every car company has their pros and cons let’s face it. The Mc20 is a great looking car. It’s design completely different from all the other cars it stands alone in its segment, it has that wow factor when you see it drive down the street and you want to take a photo to add to your super car collection. I’m very much amazed that they were able to pull it off by throwing in only a v6 and not a v8 engine. Now here’s the other part. Maserati was great back in the day because of the collaboration they had with Ferrari but fast forward to today. It’s not the same thing anymore The mc20 is way overpriced for what you get It does not compare to a Lamborghini huracan etc. no matter what they do. It is not a Ferrari and it’s not a Lamborghini. Maserati had not done enough in my opinion to show the world that they belong in that segment. McLaren had only just begun to show us what they truly are. Although they wowed us back in the day with the McLaren F1. We know McLaren’s cars are made very shitty let’s face it. Overall I love Lamborghini but I love some Ferrari model also. Maserati needs a long way to go with the mc20. The butterfly doors and all that jazz won’t cut it. They need to improve alot on the sound of that v6. When that v6 sounds like a v8 or a v10. Only then it will be a beast. For now it’s just a sheep trying to be a wolf.

It’s very difficult to light that torch again and keep it burning 🔥 when you have other super car companies that have taken over if not completely dominated the segment for the past 10-20 years. Every brand has that one car that becomes their flagship car. Which they then sell out year after year regardless of price. Maserati just has not done enough to stay with the pack in my opinion. On a different note/similar note Alfa Romeo is also going down that same rabbit hole. Hope this clears things up Cheers

The look is similar to the mclaren gt i drive but, ferraris and lambos are in a higher tier than maseratis will ever be. With the good review you gave, might have to take it for a test drive!

It might be as fast or faster, but it is not always about the speed. The sound of a V10 and V12 compared to a V6/V8 is the main reason... (without the soft rev-limiter).. But a very nice car... You need to drive these cars (i know they are for sale and you cant, but for a propper review, you have to start driving and comparing)... Looking forward to the next, and thank you.

V6 3L twin-turbo generating 630hp hell yeah that is 105hp per 500cc/cylinder. This car is for people who love speed without sacrificing their conservative lifestyle. For introverted people like myself. But the most honorable thing they did is that they made an electric version of this car that I would also get along with the petrol version if I were to buy this car.
Maseratis are quiet cars. Not so loud then Lamborghinis for example or some Ferraris. I know some of you will say what about the old Quattroporte this is one of the loudest four door saloon cars. Yes I agree, bu the design is not loud. It´s very elegant. Lambos are loud. Everbody knows this guy is worthy. Maserati is more like, I am rich but I am not a fan of a big show. And Maserati is one of these brands with a great motorsport tradition. Especially boat racing and Formula one. There are a lot of these big names where every fan will getting quiet cause the names are huge. Names like Fangio and Stirling Moss. One of he greatest Drivers of the world.
Just sold mine 2 weeks ago. Was fun, but does not come close to my F8. Also has a bit of a touchy computer that is quick to throw errors. One thing Maserati has the market corned on is depreciation. Cost me $29 per mile to own it for 2 years, not including gas and the required $6K 2nd year annual service. The doors are cool, but she’s 100% right, they are a pain for real life use. Ugh.
