Thanks for sharing the family recipe here from Germany. Incidentally, the base works well with what we call "blind baking" where the perforated dough is covered with peas or beans and then baked. He doesn't go up! Best regards and Happy Easter.
Thanks again for sharing such great recipes with us. I love family dishes that get passed down. You are definitely getting better with your production and I think it is a lot more relatable. Thanks again and can't wait to see what you bring us next time.
I love all of your moms recipes. So many are very similar to my grams. They immigrated from Czechoslovakia with their parents when they were very young but she had so many great foods that she would cook. At Christmas it was Potika with nuts or poppy seed rolls.
I love the whole goonz family! You guys are the best! I love it when you said “un thawed” so does that mean it’s frozen again? Hehe 😜 Keep the videos coming!!
Being a European, i'm really familiar with this, in fact, Napoleon cake is one of my top favourites. To make it even tastier, you can throw a nice thin layer of sour jam on the middle layer on top of the cream, something like sour cherry or sour plum jam, which will add a nice note of acidity to the otherwise sweet flavour. You can also add a light milk chocolate drizzle on top. Also, like she said, leave it sitting in the fridge for 4-6 hours before serving, so it'll be easier to cut and will be just right in the balance of moistness vs. crunch! Oh, and you can use a blender to smash the crumble in to nice fine puff dust for a more uniform crumble-cover :)
That sounds amazing! It would probably be super cool to when you cut into it and you have alternating colors white and then the jam you choose! Let us know how you like it with Jam! 😊
It looks delicious even messy surely I want to try this but is it ok to spread to spread a raspberry jam in middle of the layer of the sheets just to have a contrast of the sweetness, I think it's ok. What is the temperature of the oven to bake the pastry sheets?
It's looks jummi 😍😋send a pice to Denmark 🇩🇰😃 i enjoy watching your Chanel 👍👍 you make some great food and cake 😃👌 take care and be safe 🙏🤗 All the best from Denmark 🤗🇩🇰
@@FatFingerFoods We used to get it in the UK like a marble cake but very heavy and moist I think in the US its nearest equivalent is Louisiana Russian Cake

I made it, but added amaretto and vanilla sooooooooo gooooooood!
Omg that sounds absolutely bomb. Didn’t even think adding liqueurs. I wonder how something like grand mariner would taste in it 🤔
That looks delious” another suggestion” you could even put chopped peanuts on it as well as the sliced almonds😋🥰👍

I'll bet you could drizzle some nuttella between the layers or chocolate or even some berries even.
Hey Jenna, you could consider getting a "Dough Docker" just roll it over pastry/dough and it saves using a fork! Bogdan can use it for his pizza's.
That’s gonna be so delicious makes me want some lol keep up the amazing work
Looks delicious!🇺🇸
Happy Thanksgiving
Recommend using dough docker to perforate dough rather than fork.
so basically a yogurt parfait to frosted cake
Love it, looks amazing
A crumb coat is completely different than what ur thinking of. Ur thinking of like a strudel or crumbly top.

Can you tell me the amounts? How much heavy cream? buffer 1kg? Butter?
I don't even like cake, but watched the entire video. You two should do a video in the FFF Audi, eating flakey pastry getting crumbs everywhere. ☺
I Like were this Channel is going ❤️ When are the Vlogs coming ? 👀
Hopefully can do a vacation one soon or something travel!
Awesome, Russian cake next please?
