Hawas Ice is an upgraded and more pleasant version of the original Hawas
I owned the 2017 bottle. Compliment magnet and totally amazing. I wore it too much and got tired of it so I gifted my bottle. Fast forward I got myself the 2022 bottle but the vibe was never the same. I sold that bottle in a blink of an eye.

I own Hawas Both 2017 and 2022. 2017 was way more transparent and only sightly purple, new is very purple. 2017 had real ambergris, quality was way higher than 2022 version. In the end I like both, but they are like 90% similar, not 100%
So is Hawas with the clearer/gray juice overall better quality than the purple juice?
@@jameshusband3392 Hawas was launched in 2015 with almost transparent slightly purple color. I think somewhere around 2019 they reformulated it to purple but it went back for few batches with transparent juice. Now it is purple again. I believe only way is too buy Hawas batch 2018 and older. New formulation isn't that bad, it's just synthetic smelling but still pleasant. They added some sea powdery notes that wasn't present in the old formulation. New Hawas also has some green nuances which I don't detect in old one. Old formula has great blend, hard to catch on single note.

My 2 hawas that I bought batches 2017 and 2021 has clear juices not the purple one. Any differences?

Hi Joy, my favorite reviewer. So ive never tried the original Hawas but i bit the bullet and purchased Hawas Ice. Im still waiting for it to arrive and hopefully i enjoy it.

Always appreciate your reviews. On a positive side OG hawas will definitely be cheaper as the new one releases and I'm looking forward to stock up on it and buy the new version.
I think Hawas is already cheap I just got a new bottle for $33 shipped last week, I did pay $80 for the new ice tho lol

The original scents normally don’t become cheaper just because a new flanker is released, I highly doubt the Hawas will drop below its current price, which is already pretty decent

Hawas ice for me is long lasting and great sillage. i find it as BDC with fruitiness or invictus aqua with spiciness. Sometimes it reminds me of YSL Y EDP.
The cost in Dubai is 48 USD, but it's worth 30 to 35 USD only.

Even ysl le perfume smells similar
It reminds me of club denuit sillage for some reason or at least within the same genre.

Just got mine earlier today and i completely agree with your thoughts. if you own the OG hawas i dont think you need ice. Especially at the price ice is at. Difference is there in the opening but they smell nearly identical on dry down

Amazing how Rasasi have gone about this - weaken Hawasl to the point it becomes a shadow of the original release and then release something closer to the original with a few tweaks and HYPE MODE = EXPENSIVE TOP DESIGNER PRICES.
You could say they are pretty much just copying YSL who did the exact same move with Bleu Electrique
Personally I will skip this one.
Over time these clone houses will start copying designers in every aspect including weakening their fragrances so if you find a beast mode of any fragrance stock up immediately.
I won't bother with ICE - currently going for £100 in the UK on eBay, no thanks.
