I here only good things about the german music scene.
Depeche mode.
Let's time travel.
It's 80-s.
No electronic music.
No internet.
No functioning distribution chain.
Most of the world didn't know electronic music even exist.
Only radio and TV controlled by local station.
And then the Depeche mode arrived...
Most amazing melodies unheard to human kind.
They became instant cult movement.
Nothing felt good enough any more.
All the people wanted to do was- eat, drink and breath Depeche mode...
Years and years nonstop loop of Depeche mode music... Depeche mode is this generation's heartbeat....

Como ya han dicho antes, con este tema iniciaron la decada de los 90. Su gira de 2018 fue una de las mas vistas y mas rentables de ese año, casi 40 años después de haber comenzado. Ahora en la serie de HBO Max " The Last of Us" han rescatado un tema que de ellos que si es de dos años antes 1988 "Never let me down again".
This band seeing live is amazing and gorgeous. I do that manny times and when 65000 people singing with Dave and Martin….
It’s unbelievable
The song is from 1990. Depeche Mode were huge back then, one of the reasons synthwave got so popular. The concert was in 2013. They actually got added to the rock n roll hall of fame in 2020 and even after 40 years of being together, they are still active, going on tour this year.
I do remember them. I was born in 1985 been so long since I came across their music.

Enjoy the Silence is on the album Violator 1990 the 7 album of Depeche Mode . this song is 33 years old but it’s always young because it has no time both in the lyrics and in the sound it’s as if it were immortal. I have always followed Depeche mode concerts in Italy and in Europe and even after more than 40 years I follow them because I love their time-defying music 🎶 thanks for this video 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🖤🌹🖤
If this version amazed you, you better go watch the devotional tour version of this song live (1993). The band at their peak, they sounded a lot better since Alan wilder was still in the band and Dave’s voice was also at its peak, you are gonna love it way more than this one, it’s amazing how good these guys are, back in late 80's and early/mid 90's they were the revolution band of the synth/rock.
