Hey Keenan thanks for the plug buddy!! Not sure how you did that but it was cool haha! I like to use heat and a air hammer with a flat chiselers bit to get the old bearing races off. You did what you could with what you had tho and cutting the race in half to relieve the tension was the right move and it worked out good. Man then yanmars are tough machines all those missing teeth and it STILL turned! Haha. I bet once that bearing went all the balls and pieces fell down into the gears which chipped off all the teeth because the previous owner decided to just simply ignore the problem lol. Please keep us posted/updated on this machine! Hoping you are able to find some oem gears to drop back in her! Like you said the bearings you can mic them out and find them anywhere but the gears will be the tough parts to find Good luck buddy!
Figured you'd like that. Its call a "card". Been wanting to try it out. I figured we have different viewers. If half check it out and half become subscribers. That would help grow your channel. Two other youtube lessons, one always try something new each video and two post on the time each time. So starting out when you dont have time post once a week same day and time. UA-cam algorithm loves consistency.
Following Keenan ! Well I really appreciate that man! And yah that’s for sure, I try to make a video 1 time a week and always try to post it around 8-10pm when I do. And I agree with you about the viewers since I started out doing all bx videos I got a lot of bx subscribers but then when I did other equiptment I lost views but I don’t wanna be just a channel about 1 machine I wanna be well versed so I need an audience who can be versed as well or different people who like different things. That’s why Andrews videos do so well too cuz he does a little bit of everything and once your audience is a little bit of every type then that’s what makes you super consistent with view counts
It good to photo ,video the job then go back to see how to put it back again plus you show us how it done. if there anyone who has that equipment they can see what you did to it and fix it right . (Title on this video need the name of the model ,brand so if someone looking for help fixing their equipment they see this and watch how you did it ) this is part 1 of two as you get the parts back to replace it back tuning again. It was fun watch you do your thing on taking it off how you did it . It a dirty job .and need small hand to get it there .I like how you say Japan small hand there lol we have big fat hand making it hard to work in very tie space.
“I’m going back watching all of your stuff “now I have free time. When you post your new video tell all your watcher to go back and see what you did on repair to other thing (stuff )?
Ps. It’s funny we have been like dead matching the whole time.. both subscriber counts are like dead even all the time haha. Your doing a fantastic job I’m surprised you havnt passed me yet lol
I just picked up a B6 and was wondering where to get parts for it. It is a grey market machine, so the Yanmar dealer won't sell me parts or give any info on it. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
There's is company on east coast that sell parts. I'll look on google and see if I can find it. A lot of parts are the same as american models made at the same time.
@@FollowingKeenan I was able to contact Shannon Best at Dominion Equipment Parts and got the stuff I needed. Apparently I have a B5. Thanks for the help an videos.
