I've had an RD-2000, Fantom and Kronos. I went with the Montage M8x and love it.
    Cheers!

At time when I was making my purchasing decision, I preordered Grand 2 and tried M8X. As a piano, Grand 2 is superb, but when it comes to overall expressiveness, M8X offers and is capable of delivering much much more. Keys feel on Grand 2 is quite authentic to actual piano, but then the M8X follows and delivers the aftertouch. No buyer remorse here, but will definitively be getting M8X at some point in time.

Nord = best for the solo artist. Montage = best for a band with many instruments. Cuts through the mix better...My take

KORG KRONOS Platinum 2014-2020, Roland V-Piano, and Yamaha Montage M8X

It’s not included here for whatever reason, but I have the Kurzweil K2700 ( I’ll put it up against anything in this video ), it’s a beast of a workstation with awesome piano,Rhodes, organs, synth, drums, strings & brass etc. I’ve been a Yamaha fan, and have owned Korg and Yamaha products ! I still have my KorgTriton pro, & a Casio wk7600 along with my K2700 . I plan on getting the Roland rd2000 ex & the Akai MPC 61 next month, unless something dramatically changes my mind . I just thought i’de add my lil 2 cents in , because the K2700 is soooo slept on !
