Hi Sathish, I guess i have read some of the things you have explained in this EMV series in EMV specifications volume 3 but have never seen anyone explaining the way like you are explaining. Priceless and absolutely fantastic. Everything is easily understandable when you explain it in proper flow. Thanks.
Thanks for the nice words, Arun
Brilliant work!!! 👏👏👏
Great Explanation! Slide contents Clearly and concisely communicate all the information being explained! Thank you!
Very well explained very useful for emv beginners and a lot helpful for interview preparations😊😊 Thanks a lot…
Many thanks, please don't stop
Wonderful explanation.
do share important EMV tags as well
Thanks for this, extremely useful
Thank you for your information
HI Satish, I want to learn how to memorise all these tags is there any tricks or any guidlines. Please suggest.
Hi Sandeep, tough question. i have never viewed it from that perspective. best place to look for grouping would be 7816 specs.
thank you so much for the tutorial. How can I get actual practice programming EMV cards what tools do I need, thanks,
Hi Ephraim,
Depends on what type of EMV cards you are looking for. You'd need
- Practice cards
- Card reader/writer
- Programming software
I am not vouching for the below links as i have not tried them.
I will leave it you to Google it out :), But something like this can be used. However if you have any scheme relationship, best is to get the cards from the scheme.
www.amazon.com/SLE4442-Blank-White-Magnetic-Stripe/dp/B093NKL31H/
Card reader/writer: www.amazon.com/Reader-Programmer-Military-Compatible-Windows/dp/B07JPHYBKT/
For programming: Python can be used like pyemv. There is a Cardpeek software (i have presented it here ua-cam.com/video/bAXrcPqTU2U/v-deo.html)
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Please help with the link of emv book links
Also are supposed to read all of them or should we focus only on the latest one
You can download the EMV books from here www.emvco.com/emv-technologies/contact/
You can refer latest version's documentation only. You can refer Book 3 for commands.
@@LearnPayments can you describe a little bit what we get from which book like book 3 for commands ..?
Make full series on EMV.
Thank you so much, can we get an explanation about DATA ELEMENTS in EMV
Hi Devayani, You can get the DEs in EMV Book 3, in Annex A Data Elements Dictionary
Thank you for the content. It was really informative and equivalent to the book that could be named as "dummies for chip cards". You had mentioned in Byte 1 that there are Active and Passive IC Cards, are there any active IC Cards that you're aware of? If yes, does the Standard for the same is ISO 7816 or different?
Thanks for the feedback , yes the standard for that also is based on 7816
Too good to digest...
Thnx
