I can't say all people are bad but became a major reason to leave UK to settle in Germany.

Great for the car rental company to admit their mistake which I guess they would have had to do considering the visibility such a matter might get. But some rules are absolutely absurd with these car rental companies. E.g. Even if once your card gets declined for even a wrong PIN entry the same card cannot be used again for a 2nd try for 24 hrs. This is with Thrifty. I dont know who sits and makes such rules. Being in the service industry company's need to have pro consumer rules and regulation.

It’s okay to stand for your rights and Mohit did a good job but two sales men one of Europe car and his accomplice from the other company lied on the camera and created a scene,such people should be taken to task by their respective companies .

Mohit you are right that you denied for the refund which shows your huminity but you can ask rental car company to take some actions towards person who did all this so other employees must think twice before doing any unlegal work which can arise question on brand reputation.
You are right in that decision. However you faced some difficulties for 2 days till renting new car. But if it is collective decision then thumbs up. You held yourself high and did not surrender under pressure. I appreciate this attitude.
