- The Trigger Riot is a multipurpose trigger module that makes ultra complex patterns of gates triggers and clock pulses. The Riot covers a lot of ground in any Eurorack system from the master clocking for your entire system to algorithmic generation of pulses for envelopes, step sequencers, drums and accents that can venture into highly complex territory driven by simple yet powerful logic and algebra with a dash of pseudo random- ness for some unpredictable results.
One of the best modules in the format
Woohoo! Time to get a second riot for my black system !
I really wish they'd release the old skin of the z8000. I don't like the colors on the white or the dark module
Any chance we’ll see a black Z8000 soon?
Now that took a long time ! And a firmware update ! Christmas is early this year.
Amazing black and white versions 😍
Would it be possible to see a video of the trigger riot slaved to circadian rhythms? I’ve seen it in the TR manual.... would love to see a video of how both work with each other! I have the TR..... want to add a CR to my system.....
Hi, most of my videos feature TR synchronized to CR. you can start from here: ua-cam.com/video/OX2epJj5D0E/v-deo.html
Station 252
Excellent.... I just checked out your videos.... awesome stuff! So, I take it you’re syncing your TR from the CR via patch cables given the 2 modules aren’t right next to each other? I was curious about how both work off each other when synched via the optional bus cable you can connect at the back of both units..... does the TR’s clock respond right away to the CR’s clock?
@@schreineinAV with a sync bus its even better, you just press ''boss'' on the module you want to be the master and that's it :)
Clever patch. And nice looking Riot.
2:28 tempo can be anything you like but we're gonna make soothing jams with 200 BPM XDXDXD
Awesome! Getting into modular synth and this was mentioned. It is wild!
proper modular
Wow! It's lovely!
Can you or anyone explain how to do an Amen Break with Trigger Riot?
This isn't the greatest answer but you could pick one track for snare ghost notes, another track for snare, another track for bass, and another for ride. Patch each track to the appropriate snare/bass/ride module. The hard part is figuring out the clock divisions for each voice. Some considerations: The Amen Break is 4 bars long so the length of the pattern would have to account for that. You'd have to also expiriment with the Time Shift Functionality to make things "swing" properly.
Awesome as usual
Great
Can it be used to sequence pitch and gate, on a sound module?
That is where the Z8000 and QuantiZer kicks in to provide pitch
