Shows a 80 # thrust trolling motor in the video. But the battery well will only fit a 12v. Will have to place two batteries in your front hatch to run the 80#. Not a huge deal. But for anyone who may be interested. Something to know. I have the Rebel 1600 that was replaced by the angler in the Lund series.. Fantastic boat. I love it! I have a 55# thrust Terrova and I’ve never had any issues with feeling under powered. Very lite boat. Only issue which isn’t a complaint is storage. For the price range you get what you pay for. I added netting along the outside of both rod box’s. And on the inside of my steering cab for added day storage. The angler gas tank well if you’re only bringing one gas can looks like it could be great storage space. That space is a lot different In the rebel. I’m not sure I could use it as such. Never have tried.

I have a 1625 sport fury with a 60 mercury and it hardly plains out , put 4 people in and some body,s going forward to get it to plane, this boat could handle a 90 hp easily
Just got a 1650 angler sport with a 60 mercury & it plains just fine with 3 people & loaded with gear, under 4K rpm. Different hulls?
Does it have some type of mounting system for rod holders and down riggers while trolling?
You guys need a built in gas tank for this thing. The 2 external tanks are too small.

For the most part, I'm a fan of Lunds, especially the Pro V and Tyee. I understand that those are much more expensive that the Angler, but the boat in this video just looks plain and cheap.

I agree, if it was 15,000 fully loaded I could see it but for their sport model they run between 26-30, that is ridiculous for what you get.
Well your expecting something that you're not going to get in this type of boat. Not to be rude but it's an entry level boat for many and is built towards people who don"t have the money for that kind of boat, let alone the fiberglass ones.
