- Well, it was black Friday 2021, so I guess that meant I had to upgrade my TV with my daughters help. I previously had the TCL 65" Series 4 and wasn't thrilled with the color contrasts, especially dark scenes like in space or fog, which is not great since I like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. :)
This new series 6 is soooo much better. Looks amazing. The Manchester United red shirts really pop!

Great buy! I just picked up the same tv last week from BB. If you can find any settings on this unit please make another video. QuantumTV made some but his video was taken down by YT due to Star Wars music playing.

Yep, mine is a little glitchy too. I try to capture some of the behavior and post a video.

You do know that Best Buy has pulled all the 2021 TCL Google TV OS models from their shelves?
And re-released them after an update. Still waiting to see how it performs post latest update - think 12/22...

I just purchased one last week (2/11/22), so after the re-release. I initially set it up as a “smart TV” with Google TV to see if there were any issues with DSE and or panel problems, and almost immediately noticed lag, sound issues, etc. So I factory reset, and set it up as just a panel, because I planned to use a streaming box anyway. It’s been smooth ever since. The picture is amazing for the price, the panel is clean and bright. So my recommendation is to use a separate streaming solution and/or source for it.
@@rickray1701 yep, I really want to use the Google TV as the streamer, but it is laggy, especially with sports.

I used the same wall mount. No problem.

Tcl brightness always sucks if you just want a big tv with no good picture sure get tcl

how is the TV holding up? any querks to speak of?
TV is working great. When I first got it there were plenty of software issue and the screen flashed sometimes. There have been many firmware updates and it is working great now.
