This must've been when Lloyd had first landed in Oz. He would know now that a scorcher of a day or a run of them, is followed by a weather report on whether or not the heat of the day is going to remain or drop. The outside can have so much baked in heat from the day, that the earth , concrete, bitumen, bricks and metal is still emanating it all back out during the night. Even the interior walls can give out heat. It can be less hot outside on a hot night than inside. Not many can afford to run air-conditioning 24/7 at a long stretch of days/weeks.. We all welcome news predicting a coming drop in the hot breeze out of the interior or a cool breeze in from the coast. I've heard a weather forecaster report.... " Well, it's been a shitty day today and it's going to be a shitty day tomorrow." Viewers just accept that that's exactly how it is and what can anyone do further to describe it as exactly as that? Then they wait with hope in their hearts for the night weather prediction. I think Lloyd understands now as he is an official Aussie now and has had a joey daughter with his partner Anne Edmonson another great comedian.
