I'd throw in The Mummy as a movie with some good gun stuff in it. Brendan Fraser single loading his rifle in the beginning of the movie while faced with advancing enemies and his canvas roll-up with the rest of his guns later on
One of my favorite movies with guns as a kid was The Mummy/The Mummy Returns , ever since I’ve had the desire to own a Winchester 1897 riot shotgun paired with a S&W triple lock.
My love of guns was ignited by Tremors, Burts Wall O' Hurt is possibly one of the best anime power ups in cinematic history. Also, Firefly, outside of Mals gun, they pretty much used a bunch of existing prop guns with little to no modification, or and the sci-fi looking guns were all props made for earlier films, like Vera is actually originally built for an Eddie Murphy movie as a joke gun IIRC. For the movie, except for Mal and Zoe, everyone got upgraded with new, custom made for the film props.
Absolutely... Although the A-Team probably got me first... I still love carry handle A1's and stainless Ruger AC556/Mini 14 copies, which I could now waste like 3k building thanks to the new Samson stocks and accessories... But I also have a hefty hatred foe mini 14s and the M 14, so not sure if I'll ever commit unless I get really lucky on a cheap stainless mini 14... Like a guy about to lose his house lucky, because mini 14😂
Blue Shift! I got a really serious root canal that they had to knock me out for. I was still feeling the effects of the drugs, so my wife put me in my office and I played that game all day and finished it. Looked at the clock and I had played for five hours. Ah the memories!
One of my favorite moments... John Wayne with an XM16E1 in one scene of the Green Berets and a Mattel Marauder in another. As a kid in junior high I saw that and went "hey!"
One kind of modern sci-fi movie that sticks with me was the working guns from "Oblivion"... Very basic shell for the "space" rifle, but the remaining humans/rebels also had some interesting stuff... Good effort for 2013 in my opinion... 🤔
I run Eotechs for anything with a magnifier because you don't 3x the dot and it's still the best nods optic. I have an LP1 that I've been impressed with but it's not quite as good Eotech under nods
Looking forward to this. Also, earth is not a spinning basketball careening through the void of space. We live on a stationary plane of unknown dimensions.
I'm about to send a very old TAC30 in for electronics repair... Was hoping for maybe a credit/ modern equivalent swap from burris, but the burris tech already gave me a rundown of the parts they still had on hand, even sending me a few to keep it waterproof in the mean time, which sadly will definitely fix the minor issue... So good for Burris for actually supporting old SKU's/models, but also bad because in 2024 it's really only good for a backup backup parts build gun by this point in optic value... Unless Tarkov has somehow made it somewhat valuable 😂 Any Tarkov players want to pay like $400 for about a 14 year old 1-4 LPVO with like a 1.2 1X, and a PEPR mount that weighs about 2lbs?🤔 If not now maybe it will somehow gain value for some terrible future clone... Hop only still has his because it's either not worth selling, or just because he loves mediocre outdated optics and hoards old parts like all of us extremely smart gentlemen who are definitely not touched with a bit of the tism do... 😉👍
Just came over from Asher's podcast. He's giving you a shout out

Rainbow 6 Vegas 2. It always bothered me that all the for selectors were on safe on the in game models.

Good relatable life goals
You should talk about “The Hunt”

Blade, The Matrix, Underworld 3 movies i remember as a kid distinctly
Flash forward to modern day and somebody thought it was a good idea to make that Hera Arms abomination AR in Tomorrow War
John wick travels back in time like bill and ted and gets 9mm largo pistols.

There is only one gun in the John wick series that bothers me and it’s the P365 sas with a strike industries mass driver on the front of it.
The sights on that gun make a lot of sense for a bling guy though
Welcome back hop

Black widow could have had bond arms bullpup pistols.

Hitman is so funny, the world’s best assassin might as well be rocking a Llama or a Ruby.

I’m working on my Lemat, Schofield loadout. Don’t know if I have the balls to go confederate.
