Actually there are several good explainations for this. And yes I do think that earth is 4.5B years old, the universe 13.7B years AND I believe in Jesus Christ AND in God AND in life after death.
There is just really good evidence.

Joe, my educational background is in physical geology. While in college one has to regurgitate back to one's instructors what they want to hear in order to graduate. Doesn't mean I believe the alleged 4.65 billion year age of the Earth. I don't. It's far, far younger.
I really don't care how old the Earth is. We move forward, not backward. The past isn't my destination. The future is my destination and I want to spend that future with our Lord.

The maths for geological changes does NOT support an old Earth at all. I have visited the Jenolan Caves here in Australia. The guides kept showing us stalactites and stalagmites that they said were millions of years old. However I saw stalactites growing from electric wires, that had been placed in the caves less than a hundred years before. I did the maths for the rate of growth given by the guides and worked out these stalactites were theoretically thousands of years old - yet they were growing from electric cables less than a hundred years old!
Too often the scientists have lied to us.

You do understand that not all stalagmites / tites form at the same rate, right? In fact their rate of growth can differ very significantly. It depends and the rate of the water flow and the amount of impurities the water picks up on the way. Just because some form in a hundred years , does not mean that others can't take thousands or millions of years

I don’t think you understand the specifics behind erosion, first off just because something is eroding doesn’t mean it has always been eroding or that it had been eroding at the same rate over a period of time. Another thing is the history of the planet and the reason we see changes in geography. When we talk about erosion and geography as a whole, we first have to talk about tectonic plates. Our continents sit on what’s called a “continental plate” but there are other plates called “oceanic plates”.
These plates float on what is essentially super hot “lava”. Now it’s important to understand that oceanic plates are heavier than continental plates. This means that they don’t float on that lava as well as continental plates do, so they sit lower. And when these tectonic plates move around they all move in a bunch of different directions going different speeds.
This causes the plates to sometimes bump into each other. And sometimes a plate will move under another plate in what’s called subduction. This is where those pieces of eroded coastlines and such get pulled underneath the plate. The friction caused by the plates rubbing together is enough to melt those pieces and they become really hot.
In science things that are hot tend to “float up”, so these pieces really want to move upwards but because they are now underneath the continental plate they have to push up into it causing things like mountains and volcanoes and such. The other side of this is when plates move away from each other. This causes that hot lava to seep through and become solid as it cools.
These people won’t listen. It’s absolutely insane, their religion is like a cult.

Remember, just because things move at "one foot per year", doesn't mean they always have. The reason those rock arches are falling now may be because it took a really long time for them to even become rock arches.

Carbon dating is only one type of radiometric dating. There are about 2 dozen types. Most of which don't involve any organic processes
If dinosaurs existed, which I have my doubts, most of your dinosaurs bones are fabricated in China, which are purchased by museums here in the United States in other countries. Majority of dinosaurs that they claim ever lived actually did live. They were alive during the days of Noah and dinosaurs. If they existed we’re on the ark overtime they became extinct just like any species of animal. They were cold blooded reptiles the climate change after the flood was significant and could have wipe them out. If dinosaurs did exist, they were probably youngsters that were on the ark. If dinosaurs did exist, It really makes no sense to me, why God would create a giant lizard like the Tyrannosaurus rex with a pea sized brain to eat you and your cattle up, it doesn’t make any sense. Before the flood, all the animals were vegetarians, that would also be the Tyrannosaurus Rex if it existed!
After listening to several lectures and following astrophysicist, Hugh Ross on social media I no longer believe the earth is only 5000-6000 years old. Yes, I'm a Christian and I believe the earth is billions of years old. However, I do not believe in Darwin's theory of evolution. Darwin's Doubt, by Stephen Meyer another brilliant man and Christian, knocks a gaping hole in the entire idea.
Why is the landmass not eroded down to nothing.? No mention of the property of the ground being eroded, deposition of other sediments, no mention of uplift. Congrats, this is a flat earther-level of argument, why if gravity real, why do things float? Not counting that multiple forces are active at a time.

An analogy would be dating the age of a tree. If you assume one dry/wet cycle per solar year, you can roughly estimate the age of a tree. But that assumption can often be wrong, as multiple tree rings can form per year depending on the variability of weather cycles. (Like El Nino/Nina weather patterns, which was only recently understood.) However, the critical thing is that tree rings are not a reliable dating method, and the purpose of tree rings is not for age determination. The real purpose of tree rings is for structural strength/flexibility. All historical sciences have to be vary careful about being dogmatic about the past. This is true for both Christians and Atheists. That is why I am a 'both/and' person when it comes to the question of the age of things. And Christians can cordially have different views on it, and still have great mutual respect for each other.

And even if the drip is 50 years old, there can be other processes (like the drain) involved.

This video has identified a "drip", can you think of reasons a coastline might erode faster or slower? (Like changing the speed of the "drip")
Can you link of any way that new land can form (this would be the drain in the analogy, but it breaks down a little here, since it's conceivable that sometimes new land could be formed faster than it erodes).
The hardness of the rock/ground immediately come to my mind, with harder rock being eroded much slower than soil or soft rock.

In this video he argues that new geologic formations mean that the earth isn't old... as if a new tattoo means that a human can't be older than the new colors. Evolution is a fact. The fact that fossilization is a rare process is unfortunate, so we only have a few fossils compared to the number of individuals of each species that ever existed.
His "missing link argument" is a sign of ignorance. Even if scientists fill in the gaps between species A and species C with species B, the creationist will just ask "but where's the species between A and B and between B and C". And even if those are found, the creationist will just go more and more granular, as they cannot accept that their favorite book is wrong. It's like the orangutan in Futurama.

Hi, a Christian over here, I have seen a video debunking this claim and so what happens is that those areas like Hemsby usually have very like “fragile” “smooth” terrain (English is not my first language I can’t find the word) for example that same town has that are with limestone and that is why it is receding that fast. Please go check a video debunking this claim because I may have skipped important information in this summary.

If you can grasp that ( abstract thinking) then you will find your way towards expanding your clarity on reality. You will have a peace that nothing else on this earth can provide . Peace even during turmoil. If nothing else, it would be wise to find a lifelong peace that nothing can take away- to me that is worth all the detectable things in this world put together. If you can't look past your senses , you will not have anything other than what you feel from your environment (trauma, crimes, loss of loved ones, financial distress, health issues and so much more negativity if you hang around shallow people). I prefer to tolerate my environment and be at peace throughout it all and know that I can trust in the Words of the Bible by realizing the detectable teachings make sense and never lete down.

Fossilization is VERY rare and requires VERY specific rare conditions. You need to better educate yourself on the actual facts about the topics that you are talking about. Unfortunately, we here in the USA have allowed our education system to teach the garbage of evolution as fact, not theory, to our children in public schools. I remember growing up being confused about why my church taught about God's creation in 6 days and rested on the 7th, while the school i attended taught evolution over millions of years without God involved at all. Every Christan needs to teach your children what the Bible says is true, and to seriously doubt and question anything that isn't God's word. One thing I'd point to, as the best evidence for macro evolution is genetic copying errors that have taken place in history. Genetic mutations that were caused by copying errors in sections of our genome, and the errors can be seen in the exact same place in humans and other mammals, including rabbits.
This is according to Francis Collins, a Theistic evolutionist.
Those copying errors are actually proof of God the Creator. God's going to use a God equivalent to copy/paste, filling out the detailing in different animals. He's not going to do same thing over and over. Example, God makes some quick DNA for bone, makes a few tweaks, get's it to His liking, few extra AGCTs hear and there, as long as it works. Same for other tissues. Then He makes some critters, using those code snippets, like different animals were programs, and when He made man, still used that same bunny bone DNA, cause it worked. That's proof of intelligent design, efficiency!

What many readers of the Bible fail to understand is that between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 there is a gap of time. The Bible doesn’t record exactly how long that was. But what God is doing from verses three and following is restoring the earth after it had been overthrown. Look into a class on Power for Abundant living today for more answers.

I would recommend looking into the King James Version along with the New King James Version. And, as you are Bible shopping have a list of scriptures to check, such as the one you referred to. This will let you compare what you are reading to what you know. additionally, avoid catholic bibles. Some catholic bibles have removed the idol commandment.
