I bought a SOG Ninja backpack for $35 in 2014. It’s still my main GHB. Every bit as tough as Maxpedition gear, and comfortable to carry. It holds everything I need to get home, even if I have to spend a night in the field, and weighs 19 pounds (without any water).
We live 16 miles out from a small town. But if I go cross country, it’s only 12 miles.
@@arctodussimus6198 sounds like a good setup. Before this LAPG pack I used a Maxpedition Condor pack and liked it but not as much as this one. Thanks for watching
Excellent. Fresh content on a wore out topic. I am also a fan of the Glock 26 for over 20 years. Probably longer. I see a little weed cloth in the background. I’m a serious plant grower. I don’t see many people using it ❤👍
@@19Willy67 yea we have a orchard with garden beds and plants in between, been a big project on the homestead and still lots in the works.

Just a couple more thoughts…
I prefer the Survivor water filter. Is only filters 1,000 gallons, but it filters down to 0.05 microns. Better than the Sawyer.
And something I learned the hard way…..
In the winter, keep that blanket in the back seat, not the trunk. If you get stuck in a blizzard, the last thing you want to do is open your door and let out all the warm air.
@@arctodussimus6198 I keep the blanket and warm layers in the main part of the vehicle. I drive a SUV so no trunk.

You make the same mistake everyone else does! Have a complete layout of the gear on the ground so it is fully visual, so viewers can actually see it all at the end of the vid!
