Quick question Wondering your thoughts- So I germinated a bunch of seeds - I use the paper towel method and then into solo cups. Problem I am having this time is that the soil seems to be not airy enough. So they look stunted. I then moved them into HP Promix and like shook the little roots to free all the older soil from. Have you ever had experience with doing this? Moving the seedlings to different medium after noticing they are stunted looking? If not- all good- this is an experiment I suppose. I've never used this method of germination. I've only ever used the peat pods to germinate. I put them in my moistened seedling soil and they do great. I have gotten stunted seedlings due to too using Fox Farm Ocean Forest being to hot of a soil. Did you put amendments in the Pro Mix? It has None. Seedling don't need much, but do require some nutrients.
@@GrowDaddyTV I will also probably add in a small amount of CalMag and silica to help strengthen the stem/root system. I have some IPM spray but I will wait until it is way bigger before spraying that. I use grower's ally CD3. All organic and natural so it is safe to use on the plants. Great content and keep it coming man- I always watch to learn a few new things.
I make my own soil. I show how and what I use to make soil. I am tweaking the recipe a little every season until I get it perfect. It is doing better than any Fox farm soil I used in prior grows. I just use my first soil recipe for seedlings and don't feed. I just water. I then take my seedling recipe and amend for 1.5 pots to veg in for 3-4 weeks. I just water When I up-pot 1.5 gallon to 7 gallon my final pot I then use seedling soil again and amend it for 7 gallon pots. I do a top dressing of organic amendments before I flip3rd or 4th week of flower and only water. I show my soil recipes as the season goes...

I use 200 as my stop stretch grow roots setting just like u do. It works out great. What do you feed your girls for the 1st feed?😂😂🎉

how many days from peat pods to germination? I'm 5 days in peat pods and still don't see anything... I'm worried 😢
Usually between 3-5 day is normal. In all my grows

Jiffy is the brand name on it.... I think they make the light over in China and everyone puts their name on it.
