Do you think Disneyland is good value for money then?? Would appreciate you dropping a like and checking you're subscribed, getting close to 100k, cheers!
It's probably cheaper to fly to Japan go to their Disney, than it would be to go to either one in America. I think the tickets are like $100 a person, and the food will bankrupt you. Lol
That was certainly SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than Disney Wolrd and Disneyland in the US!! Your entire steak meal was not that much more than just a bottle of water here!
Considering this is toyko disneyland, its the best value you can get. Their tickets are about 50-70 bucks. Their merch and food is way less than the other parks. Disney and Sea and Tokyo Disney are absolutely worth way more than their ticket price. I do the domestic parks 4 times a year and will have to cut back because the cost of doing 5 days at disney is now equalling the cost of a 2 week trip to Japan which includes Tokyo Disney. I only go solo so my budget isnt as bad but family of 3 or more are hurting.
My favorite thing about Disneyland/World is that it enables a family of four to decide between putting a downpayment on a house and spending a single day in the park.
"What kind of ride is this?" "A shakey around one "Oh lovely, I fancy getting shaken around" "I don't really fancy getting shaken around" What a plot twist
@ Ed is clearly at that inevitable part of any backpacking trip where the real value of currency has lost all meaning 😂 He’ll be in for a shock when he comes back to the UK…
Amazing to watch a Disney vlog with someone who hasn't a clue what it's all about. Very refreshing. If that had been Florida, you would have paid three times as much; so, yes, it's astoundingly good value!😄
Ed honestly your vids are amazing and I cannot believe you don't have 1M+ subs. The videos are exactly like a channel I would think would have way more subs than you actually have. Maybe I just got here early, but I think you'll get there and sooner than you think.
Don’t worry, I was also 25 when I went to Tokyo Disneyland! I was there with a mate who was a year or two older. We both absolutely hated it, but my mate wanted to go, so I agreed to go with him. We kept getting accosted by groups of Japanese schoolkids who wanted to practice their English on us, which was a lot more fun than Disneyland, to be fair!
Ed, you had me laughing so much that I got tears in my eyes. So I have to rewatch this video because I missed about a third of it. I absolutely love your sense of humor! 🐛 🎉
The Pirates of the Caribbean ride originally opened in the 60's in California and has been replicated in all the parks. The ride was in fact the inspiration for the films.
Surely these places can give you a device that you can get in a queue and it informs you to get to the ride ten or fifteen mins before. If you're late, tough. You go back to the back of the queue.
went to disneyland paris a few years ago. Enjoyed the Universal Studios part better. I went to Disneyland Ca. many years ago and loved it (in my 30s then - in my 60s now. embrace your inner child)
Disneyland Tokyo Bay is AMazing, I went when I was 29 years old and it was better than Universal Studios Osaka, plus stay in Tokyo Bay which is a gorgeous location and go to DisneySea as well, perfect place to visit.
Big thing with Disney and also Japan is it's more merch and photo spots, they really love to be able to take photos and show off this is what I saw when I went to Disney at sea tokyo
When I was a child I used to go to DisneyLand every few weeks because I loved it so much. Now as a 20 year old I can understand why they always bought fast passes🤣 I don’t think I’d have quite the same patience as them even with the fast passes.
I used to live in Florida, and went to Disney World once. Awful experience. It was about 35C, and each ride took 1-2 hours of queuing to get on. We had to forgo the "best rides", as we couldn't bear to wait, so it was a pretty miserable experience. However, I knew people who went regularly, paid a fortune to jump the queue and even hired little cabins to rest in.
I reckon this is your best video yet Ed lad. I really enjoyed it. I'm not saying I don't enjoy your other videos, just that I enjoyed this one the most. Northern lights comes second in case you're wondering. Not sure about what comes third. Because I've only seen those two videos 😅 I'm joking, I've been watching you for ages No, not like that. I'm off, this comment leaving lark is complicated!
We went to Disneyland for the first time in paris a few months ago. Was similarly underwhelmed, though we did gave a cranky toddler with us. I kinda wish these theme parks did some virtual queue/token system for rides. Its such a massive waste of time queuing up for them. I know they also sell those skip the line passes but even then, I can't help but feel like they could really improve the queuing experience if they cared.
It was £194 two weeks ago for a one day hopper ticket plus £30 parking. That price definitely leaves a bitter taste in your mouth and I wasn't the one paying.
Do you think Disneyland is good value for money then?? Would appreciate you dropping a like and checking you're subscribed, getting close to 100k, cheers!
50 quid isnt too bad for a day! we paid 119$ for a day at Epcot last year
Rather go to Universal Studios Osaka, been there last year, with the single rider queue its pretty good and more action rides ;)
It's probably cheaper to fly to Japan go to their Disney, than it would be to go to either one in America. I think the tickets are like $100 a person, and the food will bankrupt you. Lol

😂
Well put
Damn, never thought of it like that... That's grotesque
11:28 "Never knew he was bilingual." Ed, sir, I'll have you know that C-3PO is fluent in over six million forms of communication.
was looking for this comment
@@kylecansfield6984 Me too! He even speaks Bocce ffs! Its like a second language to him!!!!!
Japanese is a piece of piss for that fella
Was about to say this lol
Right?!! Ed just outed himself as a non Star Wars fan 😂😂
"What kind of ride is this?"
"A shakey around one
"Oh lovely, I fancy getting shaken around"
"I don't really fancy getting shaken around"
What a plot twist
Was it only me that saw your doppelganger playing the piano?! Literally had to rewind. Thought it was a camera trick!😂
100% agreed
Omg yes
I was just about to comment about this . Ed has definitely deep faked himself onto the guy
Ed have you never been to a theme park before? It’s 90% queuing 😂
8:20
£25 for a steak at Disneyland? Bargain of the century!
Thats what I just shouted! Thats a great deal anywhere!
Plus the salad starter and drink plus steak all for 25
@ Ed is clearly at that inevitable part of any backpacking trip where the real value of currency has lost all meaning 😂 He’ll be in for a shock when he comes back to the UK…
Ed.....looking like a sprout, complaining like the true Brit that he is, I loved it! 🤣
Amazing to watch a Disney vlog with someone who hasn't a clue what it's all about. Very refreshing. If that had been Florida, you would have paid three times as much; so, yes, it's astoundingly good value!😄
£50 is a good start. Just returned from Orlando and the day ticket was almost £200 for the day.
C3PO is a protocol droid fluent in over 6 million forms of communication, so I'm not surprised his Japanese is pretty handy.
She was Wendy, Ed. Lol. You know from Peter Pan. 😂😂
never heard of her
Didn't know you could play the piano mate fair play... While speaking Japanese too, you are one talented man.

Ed in that green hat looking like a fashionable sprout made my day! Best Disney review I've seen! 🎩✨
You should do a video on thorpe park sometime with its new hyperia coaster, would be interesting to see your reaction to that lol
Please keep the hat on permanently, saves fixing your hair every two seconds! 🤦🏻♂️😂
hahaha
Ed, you had me laughing so much that I got tears in my eyes. So I have to rewatch this video because I missed about a third of it. I absolutely love your sense of humor! 🐛 🎉
Thought that was Ed playing the piano
I did, too, lol. It really looked like him 😂
Absolutely
The Pirates of the Caribbean ride originally opened in the 60's in California and has been replicated in all the parks. The ride was in fact the inspiration for the films.
Pirates of the Caribbean and the lost turnip! 😅
50 quid is cheap! Disney world Orlando costs 200 quid!
It's actually about 95 pounds ($119) without any discounts.
I was surprised at how cheap the food was for being inside an attraction. If that was the UK I'm pretty sure it'd be at least twice the price
£50 to get in and £25 for a Steak Dinner at Disney is unreal value! The prices in Orlando are eye wateringly expensive.
Watching from Spain. Absolutely love your videos Ed, you are a natural comedian a big thanks for entertaining us x
I'm terminally ill and my wish would be to go to Disneyworld one more time in Florida. I love it.
MY FAV CHANNEL BY FAR
Love that the girl in front of you on Splash Mountain was wearing the Sulley hat
Surely these places can give you a device that you can get in a queue and it informs you to get to the ride ten or fifteen mins before. If you're late, tough. You go back to the back of the queue.
"..."It's turning into a full-blown conversation. Is she getting life advice from Cinderella?" Brilliant!
went to disneyland paris a few years ago. Enjoyed the Universal Studios part better.
I went to Disneyland Ca. many years ago and loved it
(in my 30s then - in my 60s now. embrace your inner child)
Didn't you miss the fireworks?! That's the best part (from memory)
Ed just out here living his best life is 👌
I was not expecting the hat ….😂😂😂
Yoooooo new vid! Merry Christmas Ed!
The wait times are insane. We went to Disney in paris years back. Spent the whole day and rode on 4 rides 😅
Oh my gosh Ed, couldn’t stop laughing throughout this one. Cheers mate! 😂❤
Having been to other parks multiple times, though not Tokyo, be thankful for 30 minute wait times 😂
The Monsters Inc hat had me howling. Fantastic vid Ed!
Disneyland Tokyo Bay is AMazing, I went when I was 29 years old and it was better than Universal Studios Osaka, plus stay in Tokyo Bay which is a gorgeous location and go to DisneySea as well, perfect place to visit.
It looked almost like you actually had fun for once >.>
This is honestly one of the funniest videos I have seen for a while. Ed’s humor compared to Disney land happiness is so funny 😂
Ed 'the chap' Chapman; living the charmed life.
Why does anyone go to these places? To me standing up and waiting about alone would be a WASTE of money and TIME. -_-
There used to be something like that at Drayton Manor Theme park in Tamworth - Edit - The Pirates one on the boat
The food and drinks in these theme parks are always so bloody exspensive, its insane how much they charge i always eat before i go in
Why does Micky mouse not use his helicopter ? Cause it Disneyland 😂
😆 I see what you did there! Very good :-))
I went to Disneyland Tokyo in my 30’s lol loved it. Brings back memories 😊
2:22 though thats was ed for a second
20 minutes baby!! Happy new year!!
You should go fishing in Japan for monster carp! Bucket list item
Big thing with Disney and also Japan is it's more merch and photo spots, they really love to be able to take photos and show off this is what I saw when I went to Disney at sea tokyo
Complaining about a 40 minute queue 😂you wait til you get stuck in one for 2.5 hours then see how you feel 😝 great video though as always mate!
Made me laugh when you said you were impressed princess leia could speak Japanese
Funny when u bought hat, thjnk you had fun 😁
When I was a child I used to go to DisneyLand every few weeks because I loved it so much. Now as a 20 year old I can understand why they always bought fast passes🤣 I don’t think I’d have quite the same patience as them even with the fast passes.
Never knew there was a Disney land in Tokyo how long has that been there?
more than 40 years!
@nikompunkt5580 Oh wow nothing new then but never heard of it only heard of the one in Paris and Florida

2:53 Ed loves to be shaking around 😂😂😂😂😂
Saved me a fortune and a lot of queueing. Cheers mate.
That is Wendy from Peter Pan 😂
Go on the Hollywood drop tower my favourite at Disney, though to be fair most rides at Disney are rubbish
Great video and you rocked that Hat Ed.
Cheers!
Another banger nice one Ed mate 🎉🎉
Cheers Steven!
Bloody love this Ed
My decision to never go to Disneyland has been vindicated! Great video, Ed! Now I just need to find out where I can get 'Steak Jam' in the UK...
your at the best park because it still has splash mountain even though you didn't look like you enjoyed it lol
hated every minute
You will be a great dad. Do it sooner rather than later.x
“That never leaves ya” 🤣🤣
Do they do stake jams. That doesn't look appealing to be fair. 😅
Tokyo Disney Sea! Supposed to be fabulous ❤
Swear that’s Ed playing the piano?
I reckon this is your best video yet Ed lad. I really enjoyed it. I'm not saying I don't enjoy your other videos, just that I enjoyed this one the most.
Northern lights comes second in case you're wondering.
Not sure about what comes third.

No, not like that.
I'm off, this comment leaving lark is complicated!
“Oh no…I hate this so much! Why do I do this to myself?” -best ever quote lol
Hi Ed did you go to Disney Sea too?
Keep it up ed love the videos
To be fair it seems good value there, it looks as good as Eurodisney.
You like it really I bet
That was awesome video ed
Thanks Gareth!
If you have the app, can you preorder then pick up in Tokyo Disneyland?
Go to fuji Q highland if you want rollercoasters!!!
We went to Disneyland for the first time in paris a few months ago. Was similarly underwhelmed, though we did gave a cranky toddler with us.

How did you end up sitting behind the one other person in a sully monsters inc head gear 😂
4:43 LMAO ED NOOOOOOOOOO 😭
We need an Ed and mashtag collab.!
Ah there he is, holding his Mickey in his hand?
Be way more expensive in Florida.
You need to start tours a few times, as there are different sims
The prices in there were cheap, USA is 5 x that easily!
It’s over 100 quid (provably closer to 130) to get into Disney world in Florida now.
It was £194 two weeks ago for a one day hopper ticket plus £30 parking. That price definitely leaves a bitter taste in your mouth and I wasn't the one paying.
I thought the lunch would’ve been much more than £25
Not bad at all
It’s more than that at Flamingo Land
I can’t believe how cheap it was here compared to Florida and Paris!!
That guy at the start on the piano is defiantly your dad 😂
i am not a Disney fan, but you made it interesting fun!
when we getting videos back in the uk?
soon
@@EdChapman23 great, thanks
£50 isn't bad its £150 for Disney world Orlando tickets these days and then they want £30 for genie on top and god knows how much parking costs
Isn’t the whole point of C-3PO that he speaks every single language, I’m sure he’s picked up japenese 😂😂
Damn you beat me to it :)
Thought that was you playing the piano then I had to replay that bit 😂
In that Mike hat you've truly never looked so radiant
Ed must be making bank from these brand deals! 😂 btw you can use our music in your vids for free Ed LY ❤
Why didn’t you get the fast pass then you don’t have to wait in line, you can go off and come back
Omg I thought that was you playing the piano 😂
