true bros i miss playstation vibe and aesthetic, i wish a game that was like "ps2 vibe, but better" would exist. its a specific feeling, and atmosphere. Like resident evil 4, shadow of the colossus, even this jet li game, tekken 5, the phantasy star games, ps2 games have a feeling thats unique to them (like every console does) but i really miss ps2 vibe specifically.
When PS2 was released they used to sell PlayStation Magazines every month or week not sure and they used to give demo from new video games and I got the demo of this game and got so hooked I forced my mom to buy it I think I finished the demo over 50 times until I got the full game I miss those years.
Bro u seem like u know alot of Old games. Do u know of this one where its a man on a motorcycle and he goes to this DMV place where u practice shooting targets to level up ur weapons license? The intro starts where he wakes up in like a mansion and some girl is there waiting on him. When u leave ur in a big parking garage with lots of vehicles but ur only allowed to take the motorcycle. Other parts of the game include a mission where u go to a gas station and u have to figure out how to turn the power on I think. The guy u play has a set of black glasses u can remove
Other details I remember about this game is you used to be able to throw bullets to distract ur enemies. Throughout the city there are medical billboards and advertisements brandishing a shady medical vaccination or Healthcare services. Also when u go to the DMV u have to practice sneaking around enemy decoys and ur placed in a simulator that is lit by neon lights.
