If we look closely, there are similarities between Java and Japan. Their language, attire, culture, dance, music, mannerism...look like Japanese. As you can see here, it looks like Kabuki. It is said that they have relationship with the Ainu people who migrated long time ago. Perhaps that's why they're not really fond of the Malays, always being rival since history.
